I had ketchup aux fruits yesterday at the sugar shack - much better than actual ketchup
I do that sometimes too for Hot-Dog. Actually Hot-Dogs are something i "vary" a lot with. Sometimes its just Ketchup, sometimes its just sauce, sometimes its Ketchup/Mustard, sometimes its simply Cheez-Wiz (when i have some at home, wich is not often, but every once in a while i buy one).
I can't eat "Tourtiere or Paté Chinois" without a ton of Ketchup personally. But with it, its something i really like.

Isn't it the same concept as ''cream sauces'' on pizza? Which I'm not entirely against, sometimes it's good but sometimes it's really not..
Pizza in itself should have either tomato or cream based sauce. Its red or white. The rest is just dips and condiments... As a former brick oven pizzollo I can say that a lot of what passes as pizza sauce these days is a disgrace.
If you need a dip to eat the pizza then it's just not good enough. Why the f would you dip pizza in ranch or buffalo? Eat a salad or a sub...
I think "American style pizza" kinda lends itself to that type of excess lol and personally I had never seen people dip pizza in ranch sauce until the 2010s. I think it's because of that chain restaurant
How high can you be to put Mayo/Ranch or thousand island on pizza ? Comme disait Bob dans Les Boys « heille faut être gelé en tabarnak pour manger des toast à la moutarde » ... just make sure you don’t do that in Little Italy if you want stay alive ..
Not all pizza's are created equal. When a pizza is dry-ish, I can understand putting some sauce and flavor when its lacking.
Regardless, when I'm paying, I'll put put whatever I want and they can smile and thank me for my business. I enjoy eating pizza with cutlery and the occasional hawaiian pizza too.
I will never understand gatekeepers. Client is always right when it comes to their taste and preferences.
Hawaiian pizza is legit good.
Sprinkle a few drops of water on a dryish pizza and microwave on medium power for 30 seconds.

The only way I will eat Hawaiian pizza is if I smother it with hot sauce. It will make anything taste bareable.
I hate warm pineapple. Hawaiian pizza is gross to me - so is anything involving cooked pineapple
