I made a data analysis project where I try to find insight into food establishment violation patterns and I see if I split Montreal into 20 neighborhoods what neighborhoods have the most and least violations per number of restaurants (that way it doesn't just show the neighborhood with the most restaurants as having the most violations). I wonder why NDG and others would be have so few violations per capita while Griffintown, Little Italy, and others would be around the top. Little Italy was second place. Villeray is in 4th place. I'm surprised Little Italy and Villeray two neighborhoods I've lived in are in the top 4.
I know someone told me there was a huge rat problem in NDG so maybe restaurant owners are extremely careful because of that

I think you’ve sealed the coffin of your reputation yourself with that unhinged thread of yours. All I’ve said was that you made me uncomfortable and unsafe, I think you’ve proved everyone I was right.

So about the MAPAQ, I remember reading a review to my ex about his favourite crepe place. It said something like: des rats en décomposition ont été trouvés au sous sol

Any. My comment was a general statement. It could be when men feel called out (or feel the need to respond defensively) when women talk about the rate of sexual assault. Or when women talk about their drinks being spiked. Or when they talk about men who react violently or badly to rejection (violence doesnt have to be physical btw). Just a few examples.

But I think all the regular, average, restaurants had something at some point, I don't know? I have never been sick from a restaurant, most places are OK, I'm good.
I think that some restaurants keep their kitchen clean and their stock room somewhat clean but there could still be rats, roaches or others walking around in the kitchen. So we don’t get sick but there’s still a risk
I have been doing a data project on this for the past 24 hours and most food establishments in Montreal have never had a health violation. If you want I could show some insights like the repeat violators and other outliers. The data is really interesting.
I have to do more work in my project to differentiate chains and individual establishments so my work isn't finished yet.
Though I wonder how many of those are just not reported - idk how to explain. The same way the number of convictions in a given city isn't representative of the actual number of crimes committed within that city. You feel me? Just because a restaurant didn't get caught/doesn't have official violation records doesnt mean they never had any issue
