For me it depends on the locale and the type of person I’m likely to see:
In Montreal when I was still seeing standard SPs I did not pay deposits or give personal info via screening. I never received in my dwelling. I used a monger name, a monger phone and monger email. I never used any of my actual personal info for anything and I have zero crossover. When going to an incall or especially when meeting a new provider I would bring the cash needed for the appointment and nothing else. No wallet, no keys, no watch, nothing but the cash. If I needed the monger phone for whatever then I would bring that, but that phone has no personal info, no google ID, no photos, info or active apps that link to anything personal, no nothing. I also never parked in front of the providers location, but at a discreet distance away. I made sure no one followed me when I left. I was also careful about what personal info I shared. Now that I only see a circle of off-grid non-pros and semi-pros I don’t have to jump through as many hoops as I know all the girls well and they me, albeit under an alias and with no personal info. They are all also seeing me out of their own homes, so there is much less risk there as they are unlikely to want to compromise the place they live in when they can easily be found. I also know their real names, so again mitigates risk, although truth be told I’m not to worried about any of them. I share little personal info in person with anyone in conversation, either standard or off grid girls.
I do still see MPs, usually indies, and still only bring the cash needed etc., and most other precautions as above. For salons this is not an issue, but as I prefer indies to salons generally there are some precautions needed. Obviously no screening info required so no issue there. My friend in Vancouver who I referred to switches his license plates a few blocks before arriving and then uses an envelope to cover the VIN in his window. I think that’s excessive but he says he had some kind of problem he didn’t want to talk about, so maybe it’s an issue. I don’t know.
When traveling it’s a bit different. Use a monger phone with a local SIM. Never leave the hotel/Airbnb with a full wallet. Remove everything from the wallet except the cash needed and a photocopy of the main page of your passport and the entry stamp. ID may be needed but most police abroad will accept (at least temporarily) the photocopy (colour). Be wary about using hotel safes as there are/can be a surprising number of people who have access to them and can discreetly remove item/cash that may not be noticed, or noticed right away, even in safes where you set the combination yourself. I leave replaceable valuables in the hotel safe (camera, headphones, etc) and important documents/cash/cards go into a pacsafe that I usually hide discreetly in the room, which although it can be opened someone would have to be looking for it and it would be obvious if opened, making it reportable to them hotel. Girls will come back to your place so don’t leave out anything you don’t want them to see. Don’t leave cash or your bling lying around. Have the mini-bar removed from your room if applicable. Tell the girl that the phone cannot be answered while in your room and never open the door to anyone knocking on the door when the girl is there. NO PAYMENT UP FRONT. EVER. NO DRUGS IN THE ROOM.EVER. IF IN DOUBT ABOUT THE AGE OF THE GIRL CARD HER. ALWAYS.
Cuba is a bit of a special case so I’m going to single it out. Since there are always chronic shortages of everything there you need to pay attention to silly things you wouldn’t have to otherwise in other places. There are never room safes in casa particulares and you should never stay in a hotel there. Pacsafe again. Also, while violent crime against tourists is virtually non-existent for all practical purposes, if you’re not an idiot, petty thievery is super common. Ideally in a 2 room casa use one room to sleep and one room to screw in, if available. Don’t leave all your toiletries out in the bathroom. Scents, soaps, shampoo and toothpaste get stolen all the time. Lol. Pacsafe for valuables but you can leave your day to day crap in your suitcase closed and locked and you’ll have no problem. Stay away from police when you’re with a girl. The police are extremely corrupt and will often ask either you or the girl or both together or separately for a bribe if they can link you together. They will never arrest you for being with a working girl, even though it’s illegal, but their hand will always be out. Again, Cuba is a special case as far as bringing a girl back goes. Always pick your own taxista there too, for reasons I won’t get into here.
