Merbites & Hobbyists alike:
I cannot find a single consistent thread in https://merb.cc about the interesting situations in which the hobbyists refused services from SPs. Here and there, I read interesting stories from hobbyists on why and how they sent SPs packing but I do not believe we have a systematic and coherent thread on this topic. So perhaps we can pull the hobbyists’ different experiences together and see if we can establish some reasonable standards or rules of engagement between hobbyists and SPs.
Certainly SPs are welcome to express their experiences and points of view. I am sure they have a lot to say. Also I understand for SPs there are a lot of circumstances that they actually or will refuse servicing hobbyists. However, if possible, it is better to keep it as a separate topic under a separate thread and it deserves to be a separate thread.
I can think of situations hobbyists will turn or turned away SPs, such as:
1. It is a bait and switch operation.
2. Services are/were not delivered as advertised or promised.
3. The hobbyist and the SP involved do/did not click.
4. There are/were tell tale signs that the SPs have health issues, such as STDs.
5. Unexpected events, for example, mother nature (menstruation) comes calling.
The list goes on, please feel free to add.
Also the related issue is: Did you pay them when you turned them away? Or should you? What is reasonable here?
Again the starter list here:
1. No donation changed hand.
2. Absolutely no refund.
3. Total refund (100%).
4. More than 50% refund.
5. 50% refund.
6. Less than 50% refund.
Again feel free to contribute.
There are probably a lot of individual variations based on different experiences. For example, one hobbyist may turn away the SP at the door with no compensation. But another hobbyist may be willing to pay a small premium for the SP to go away. Again, if the hobbyist is at the stage of undressing the SP with all the kissing, fondling, and caressing, then suddenly find something wrong, perhaps it is reasonable to compensate the SP to turn her away. Or perhaps if the SP does not care, the hobbyist may get away without paying anything, as I recalled in Spartacus’ Nomy case.
I am looking forward to the enthusiastic participation as a first step or attempt to the systematization and institutionalization of reasonable standards between hobbyist and SP relations. It will be great indeed if this eventually becomes a universal standard for all hobbyists and escort communities.
