Since i got a more modern cell this a trend i saw with "apps" , they often want to have acces to my cell's info, that is why for instance i refused to sign up with snapchat... even tough i would love to follow some peoples on that.

Youre right, telecom companies can't share client info (especially in Canada)... but there are currently so many other companies that do... that it kinda loops back to the same result.

If its truecaller... you can access it... just make sure to use a dummy gmail to link to it... use a throwaway.Then you can run queries on numbers and see the output.

I did make sure to use an empty, useless Gmail. And I never use it on my phone either.

Anyways YAY someone who understands. I thought it was so childish to think anyone would "pretend" those sites exist. AND to keep going after the site was even posted lmao. I could literally picture a kid being like "NANANANANAAAA doesn't exist hihihi u liar" like come on. Were in 2017 and I'm a teen, pretty sure I know my share of internet lol. Ok, but that's not the point. Julia sky claims to be able have the name associated with any cell #. Anyways that's what I understood. We All know that if u do not secure your info on Facebook or the web, one can search for this. There r several sires which leaked sensitive info which was stolen from various web sites. And if u know where to look, this info is available.
However if your careful not to associate u cell and personal data on public web sites, then the only way to connect u to a cell # is thru court order. This makes more sense, than Julia sky claim "i can find ANY name associated with a #.

Lots of girls do, including myself. There's a website who does it for free, it either tells us your name if someone already identified you, or it at least tells is if your number is real or not.

I did say in an earlier post that the name is only available if someone already registered it on the website.

Impartial witness here, you did not say all but from what I read on your posts you did imply it, to my understanding also. Then again, I am old and use a lot of cereal.

What I wrote is that there is no way to trace a number to the actual owner as it is against telecommunications law. Wireless service providers would be open to lawsuits. However the only way such info would be found is if and I REPEAT if the user of that number now I say user as technically anyone can be using a cell number... It can belong to a sibliing or friend and someone else is using it so that person becomes the user attaches or publicly attaches that number to any host of publicly available sites or even a advertisement... Truecaller belongs into this category. To search you must create an account using your email and if you download the app you must create it from your cellphone using the app.

Now Truecaller wants access to all this information and you were a victim of this. Looool But this info is only as good as whatever you entered into these accounts or in your phone. So unless you CHOOSE to use Truecaller your number would be untraceable and even if you find something the info is unreliable because whoever that used it could have put anything they want to so it is kind of worthless. It is kind of like what Halloween Mike talked about like Snapchat... To create an account you must link your phone number but people change phone numbers after some time and unless they choose to update the number it will give you the incorrect name. So maybe some other Merbite can spell this out to you in English for children since you really do not seem to comprehend. I would be so embarrassed if I were you ound:. À few years ago I got involved with women whose ex was a drug dealer (I did not know that at that time).

This guy had clients that were engineers/techs at a well known communications company. So he had easy access to data and used that access to get his ex girl friends cell number and even positional data. Got very scary very rapidly.

He is in jail, for other reasons now.

The security is obviously a concern and I can totally understand that. And this issue should be solved by the SP and not by the hobbyist. There are plenty of ways to solve it without giving a headache for the hobbyist. SP can ask for MERB user handle or ask a referral from the different MERB user for example.

Really, I think that with a well known agency you don't risk anything by using your real phone number. They don't have any interest in using it for something else!

So do you guys all use your real phone numbers? I really can’t, I have a work phone and it’s just not worth it. Some providers don’t seem to mind at all and I’ve had no issues booking. Others flat out refuse. Any suggestions? Of course the agency can do what they want, I’m just wondering if you guys have come up with any workarounds.

I use my own cell and also an app depending on the person. Plus I feel people can not tell its an app unless they call and get a missed call (i assume). Just use an app and be sure to get a 514 or 438 area code and you should be fine.

Or you can buy a cheap burner.
