There is already a website for people milionnairs and now made a website for beautiful people:rolleyes:

http://ca.beautifulpeople.net/frontpage.asp

a Canadian website reserved exclusively for beautiful people has been launched recently. The designers did not even interfere to say publicly that people are not attractive refused. Applicants must bring into line their photo and profile and are subject to a process of voting on others.
The site is already in operation in 15 other countries. The founder of the site, Robert Hintze, said that (the canada was selected because there are many beautiful people, but also very ugly). The aim is to avoid that "beauty" being bothered by "ugly".

I'd like to see your comments, what do you think about that, is that the idea is good or discrimination?

Whats that sound?

I hear the sound of fishing reels making a TZEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee sound and Chuck Ching sounds. I think that if you took the 20% with the lowest income and the 20% with the highest income in this group, you will find that the lower income group will be mostly younger attractive women, and the higher income group will be older less attractive but weathier men.

Technically, it's not discrimination because they are not providing a public service, such as food or accommodation, imo.

As I understand it, you can legally have a private group that excludes anyone you want as long as you don't use public funds, have below a certain number of employees, don't provide public facilities, etc.

So if "beautiful" people want to have their own group, which relies on donations from its members, they can compose their membership as they please.

As for whether or not it's a good idea, that will be left up to market forces. Since they are making themselves out to be an elitist group, many people may think that they don't qualify, or many will be angered by being rejected. Those people on the website look "fake" to me.

To be so blatant about elitism and snobbery seems bound to cause trouble, imo, that may not be worth it.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, after all.

So how do places like Shed and other spots on The Main get to hire only stone hotties, not fatties? (I know the answer, this is a bit of a test question).
