I've been visiting Montreal thinking its the sin city of Canada but turns out Toronto has a a muuuch bigger scene. What's the deal? Don't get me wrong, obviously Toronto is bigger, but its only about 10 Torontonians to 6 (I'm including metro as well). Are habs just easier to bang compared to Torontonians?

Toronto is a very different place, besides being much larger. The mentality is different, people are colder, they seem more business focused, superficial and alienated from each other. I imagine the dating scene there must be hellish
There are almost twice as many people in the GTA than there are in GMA to begin with, Toronto also receives significantly more tourists than Montreal.
Cost of living is also higher which might result in more people choosing to do this, and rates tend to be higher too which makes it more enticing for workers both local and touring

TO is a bigger market and you can charge higher rate! People there can afford it, Simple !
They're richer on average and they have a higher number of "rich" and "very rich" people.
Clients are easier and there’s more money to make. I used to visit Ottawa every weekend and never work in Montreal
Actually I've found the workers in Montreal are quite average sized, with some very tall.

Maybe there are more in Toronto, but I wouldn't say Montreal has any shortage!
People are busier in Toronto, they have less time for the chase and want to get right down to business hahaha

It's all about the Benjamin's. More money to be made in Toronto. With the way the prices are going in Montreal it's looking more and more like the place to hobby. Traveling from NYC it's only a little further to get to, so I'm leaning towards Toronto in the near future for sure.
