I would not pay any extraordinary amount for Celine Dion.

Nor can I stand her music.

But I gotta hand it to her. She entered a competitive market full of other divas, developed millions of fans, got lucrative contracts for things like the Titanic soundtrack, and got a cush gig at Vegas for 5 years. And so far, no lip synching scandals, but she has relied a bit too much on remakes.

Annika Sorenstam: $500 plus I'd buy her a round at the best country club near here so long as I could caddy.
