Let's not forget mid-term elections either. There's already a strong backlash against Trump's policies and it's growing. The fact he lost the popular vote by almost 800,000 shows Trumperv had better not think he has a mandate. Though he's very unlikely to let that stop him, the more extreme he is the more likely the Republicans are to lose the House of Representatives. Plus he continues to act like a childish fool on twitter. Who know what other stupid crap he'll do to motivate a lot of people who didn't vote plus those who did.

And still most Republican will fight him on numerous policies.

The green is not all that profitable to all, many countries regret going green and bankruptcies are happening, Spain a few months back had a huge loss with some green company. The cost to the consumer is far too high at the present time.
My thoughts on this... Exploit the hell out of our oil and gas industry, build pipelines to each coast and sell as much as possible. make it a law that the major oil companies use X amount of profits to invest in an alternative energy source where they will be share holders ( a few majors are already investing heavily into this as it is ). Once we get a feasible alternative energy source and the economy is ok then do a slow transition to cleaner sources. To bankrupt a country to go green makes no sense at all. Looks good on paper, too bad all the young " kids " want this to happen now.

Germany is working on a law to make 100% car electric by 2030. We will see many of initiative like this. So your statement makes sense. Exploit while there is a need. The only problem with over exploitation is that is drives the price down, so less profit.

I am thinking that Trump will in the near future stop oil imports from a few eastern countries and will need to make up the difference and that is where Alberta comes in. That has been reported and it looks like Kushner is out for revenge.

All reports say there's a lot of complications on many levels of administration transition from personal rivalries to a massive web of conflicts of interests and Trumperv family connections account for a large segment of it all. Now Giuliani says Trumperv is exempt from conflict of interest laws. If you thought the Clintons exploited their positions for $$$ you haven't seen anything yet. I think this family is willing to ignore every line of regulation and law regarding conflict of interest ever drawn and whether that's legal or not could be the basis of a possible impeachment as predicted when they try to use the Presidency directly by altering rules and regulations for profits.

He has shown every time he does not let anything get in his way and he thinks simple denial absolves him of all complications and wrongs. In his most recent tweets he claimed everything about the transition was running perfectly despite everything well known to have happened. He just lied about it and thinks that covers him completely. U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has agreed to settle lawsuits relating to his Trump University series of real estate seminars for $25 million, a source familiar with the situation told Reuters on Friday.

Claims brought by New York's attorney general will represent roughly $4 million of that amount, the source said. The law firms representing students in the case will not seek attorneys fees, only costs, the Reuters source said.

A source told CNBC earlier on Friday that the case was nearing a settlement, and that the president-elect would agree to pay $20 million to $25 million to settle the complaint. Trump will not admit to any wrongdoing in the final agreement, the source said.

The New York Daily News first broke the news. CNBC has reached out to Trump's attorney.

A spokesperson for New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman said the attorney general "has always been open to a settlement that fairly compensates the many victims of Trump University who have been waiting years for a resolution."

Earlier this year, former students of for-profit Trump University filed a lawsuit after they said the school fraudulently misrepresented what students would be taught and falsely claimed that instructors were picked by Trump. Trump's lawyers have asked the judge on the case to delay the trial, according to NBC News.

Trump mentioned in his keynote election speech the infrastructure and how money would be spent on it. Bannon is now reaffirming this. With interest rates at record lows what he says makes total sense. We have bridges that are falling apart and an infrastructure that lags behind Europe's in critical areas. This is a fucking embarrassment and I want it corrected and if Trump wants to spend my tax dollars on it he may do so, even though I did not vote for him. Because I like this particular agenda, although it seems to be the only one I like of his 3 big ones.

Bannon said the liberals simply got it wrong. He was right about another thing- the liberalswill tax and spend you but that money will go to special interests and donors.
