Na I doubt Europe would allow that. They remember all too well what Russian rule is like especially the iron curtain countries.
East Germany ( now combined Germany) would never stand for that again.
Russia is no match for a combined Europe, look how long Ukraine has been holding them at bay, a combined Europe easily outguns Russia in every way.
Who are they? The new generations that need to fight don't have these memories no they have any desire to die for anything. Many older East Germans are in fact nostalgic of the communist time and the younger generations are brought up with pacifist ideas and despise military. The German and French right are also pro-Russian. Russians will do what they always did. They will install pro-Russian local dictatorships that will rule the local populi.

They are very good at this, in fact the so called "Soviet Bloc" was the USSR and a series of puppet regimes spread throughout Eastern Europe. The Russians wrote the playbook on installing local dictators who are essentially lapdogs and bootlickers to the Kremlin.

The Russians are also very good at using poisons. You can ask Navalny, as well as Litvinenko about this.

Nobody in the younger generation in the Iron curtain countries today is nostalgic about communism or wants Russian rule.
Most are in the EU and like it there.
Russia will never again rule over Europe. Those days of installing puppet regimes are in the past, have you ever been to any of these countries lately do you have relatives there, I do, they hate Russia and want nothing to do with them.

What they want is one thing but are they ready to risk their lives and fight as Ukrainians do is completely other meter.

They will fight if they get attacked and eventually it may come to that.
Ukraine is not part of NATO or the EU so they were reluctant to engage with boots on the ground.
Russia is much weaker than a combined Europe.
