Mandy set up a very successful business with that original location in Westmount. It would appear to me that she knows a thing or two about business, how to run a business and successfully grow it.
Sometimes when I feel a little down I check one of the multiple threads about Leolist and realize my life choices arent that bad.

It always amuses me when I read what some people consider to be a scam, and how they completely fail to recognize when they're beng scammed elsewhere. Is critical thinking really just a thing of the past? I mean, I understand how younger/less experienced people can miss what to me are obvious signs, but how some so-called experts can miss them too baffles me.

When I worked years ago in customer service at Rogers / Fido, I often got a specific type of customers who were always trying to haggle. I hated that it was so annoying because we do not set the prices neither we had the power to change it. In their country it is the norm to bargain but in Canada they have to adapt to the customs here. They made my job much harder.
That was exactly my point, you got it. It's not poor people who are cheap usually.. in my experience the most generous people have been through financial hardship, or they are so rich that it's fine for them to throw money out the windows, but they don't necessarily think much about how this money can actually improve someone's quality of life or even save them.
What makes people try to get bargains is entitlement and the need to have quantity over quality... Which is often very much a middle class or rich ppl mentality. It's not everyone tho! Obviously I'm only taking about certain folks. I have met a lot of wealthy ppl who truly were generous because sharing is part of their values.

I would say it is less about entitlement but more that those cheap people are just greedy. They want it all for for so little. It is like the guy that wants a work of $6000 but is only willing to pay $1000. In general I noticed that the richer the person is the more greedy and cheap they are. These has been my own personal experiences and what I observed.
A Dragon, or Phoenix. Still trying to figure it out. But I know when my wilder side felt internally caged, I imagined a dragon captured and caged, and that spirit over the last 2 years has been growing in strength. An it can be a force to reckon with. There is a reason I call it a beast.
I don't have one because I am not part of an indigenous community.
I have favorite animals (fox, raccoon and panda and of course dogs lol), and animals I relate to but I don't have a "spirit animal"
