Here's a suggestion for agencies who would like to set a new standard in terms of creating a more ethical industry: having a publicly visible code of conduct on your website. One part would be the client's code of conduct, the other would be the agency's code of conduct towards their escorts. This would be a way to build trust among all parties involved . Since the code would be visible, clients could ask the escorts if it really being respected, and agencies could use it as a tool to enforce proper behavior among clients. Some clients may even be more inclined to book with a agency that has a code they deemed reasonable.

Some will say I am dreaming in color–and I don't fully disagree–other may see it as a promising step towards more ethical arrangements .
I totally agree with you. It would be a good way to prepare the indutry for an eventual legalization. Eventually the SPs could have a board of professionals, similar to the boards of doctors, engineers, psychologists, physiotherapists, social workers, pharmacists, etc. Some realities started in a dream.

I still don’t understand why guys use incall locations in Montreal. Makes zero sense unless you’re a local. The charm of Montreal is outcall to your hotel. More relaxed and fun.

I understand the economics for agencies, but out of dozens of appointments I always turned down incall. I can get that in NNJ and NYC.

A former escort who apparently worked for XO weighs in on reddit:

Again, take it with grains of salt, or not.
I don't think this means anything personally and this is an anonymous account. Who is this even?

As for people not denouncing rape.. we don't do it because people blame victims, they don't believe us, the process of reporting or calling out can be extremely traumatic etc. Particularly for someone who is a sex worker.. a lot of people think we're asking for it

I also want to remind you guys that not everyone is treated the same way in this industry and our experiences vary a lot. It's not surprising to me that a teenage girl would have bad experiences while other more experienced providers who know their boundaries don't as much

There is favoritism at certain places and some people will get exploited while others won't..this is why this is so touchy. Some people are more vulnerable than others for many different reasons and individuals who have bad intentions will see that vulnerability as a weakness to exploit

i'm sure 50% of clients are with a significant other and cannot do outcalls

As for "why did she stay" it was stated in this thread several times that the boss was threatening girls with outing... And even beyond that. There are reasons why people stay in abusive situations.. these situations often have some sort of appeal on some level and there's a lot of manipulation involved too. 19 is really young. When I was 19 I was still a virgin and I was really naive.

I think someone can be too young and inexperienced for sex work personally. You have to have had some life experiences in order to handle it

I remember seeing an SPs who I haven't seen for a long time and she used to be at XO. I just mentioned I have no idea what happened to XO and she said the owner became a drug addict and that was the downfall of the agency. Another SP another told me that the booker didn't stop asking her to join an orgy when she didn't want to. I remember XO organizing some orgy party but apparently it was only for the ''loyal'' clients, I wonder if those events went well or the sexual assaults might be where it comes from?

I remember around the last times I used XO, a moment freaked me out. The agency knew my username here and that I was a regular. One day, they contacted me and they called me by my first name. I never shared my full name beside the SPs. I asked the last SP I saw if she mentioned me by my full name and she said no, she doesn't know how whoever contacted knew my first name.

Another thing, I noticed was when booking and arriving at the door, they ask us to just enter and not knock. I suspected that was because neighbour noticed multiple door knocking for the same door and raised suspection. At that time, it was the only agency that asked me to do that. So this fit with the neighbour getting suspicious.

I been doing this activity since I was 18yo and now I am 37yo. Even with all those years, I never knew the ''behind the scene'' of this business.

Really disappointing to read this, I hope for the best for the victims.
The fact that they knew your first name is very spooky...
I suspect Agencies have a way of doing a soft background check.

I googled my own phone number and my full name and city came up...I had it removed by submitting a request though

It seems like there were complaints to LE and they set up a sting, the goal of which was to shut down the agency and charge its principals. This was accomplished. It's a low hanging fruit situation. Going after clients based on seized phone numbers and texts seems like an expensive and more difficult proposition. It seems unlikely. Unless they got very specific information/evidence of, or a witness to criminal behavior by the client and feel compelled to charge it.

Hey EB, do you recall JuliesNYC back in the day? That agency got busted in early 2005. Julie Moya raked in millions, but the DA trumped up charges of her employing a 17 year old. The real story is the girl used fake ID, and when Julie found out, they jettisoned her. The underage may have worked a month or so. And that 17 year old was introduced to Julie by one of her girls, swearing she was 19.

I always found the girls there to be on the older side, 26+, some early 30s, so I was amused when I read the DA charging her with employing underage escorts. I was paranoid because I was a regular and never suspected the agency would employ anyone underage. But competing agencies helped bring her down, and apparently Julie stopped greasing some LE who helped her stay open for years and years.

The only clients arrested were those present during the bust. And Julie had like five locations around the city. Julie’s was best deal in town, Montreal quality and more for 250.

I have no doubt XO management are scum bags and I’m sure many allegations are true. But it’s also possible a lot of stuff is really embellished to help prosecute the case. These are heinous allegations, but let’s step back and assume many are true, many aren’t. Regardless, human depravity like what I’m reading never ceases to amaze me.

LE isn’t going after XO clients unless those clients saw an underage girl. That I’m fairly certain of, unless I’m missing something.

Everyone predicted other agencies in NYC would falll after Julie’s got busted. The opposite happened. So many opened to fill the gap.

One final amusing point which I heard from a Julie’s escort at the time whom I saw on the side post-bust. When it became evident a close friend and relative of one of the prosecutors was a regular at Julie’s, of course the sweet plea bargain came into play, with Julie agreeing never to reveal a “client list.”

Every case is different, but my guess is you’ll never see an XO client list unless prosecutors have a mark on a high profile person (eg Elliot Spitzer).

Google Julie Moya. Fascinating read. She did a bit of time…and of course she re-opened under a different brand a couple years later.
