Hello all. I was curious as to what everyone's thoughts are on manscaping. I have shaved before as I assume it has to be more pleasant for the ladies but damn do I feel like an ass when I do so. Is it common or do most providers not mind if a guy is au naturale?

Every comment from every woman I've ever had preferred at least a little maintenance.
No need to wax everything, a trim is better than "au naturel".

I have not gone and seen anyone with a bush, so I cannot verify that but none have said anything when I was trimmed or shaved. There have been discussions online where hygiene and being a gentleman were their top qualities they want, and in that order.

Reviving this thread, for those interested, to give a positive review for this razor (and the associated shaving cream). It gives pretty good results without nicks or cuts. It's designed to shave slightly above skin level, so will leave very minor stubble. It's a well engineered product with an anti-slip handle and rotating head. I think it was released about 2 years ago.

Personally, I don't care at all as long as you're clean HOWEVER, I'm not going to lick or suck hairy balls because of the obvious.

I highly recommend an electric trimmer such as Philips Norelco Body Groomer Series 5000 Body Shaver. No razor = no stubble.

I trim my pubes with electric razor with a guard. Then use old school double edge safety razor to shave my balls and start of the dick. End result is lightly haired almost triangle shape above my smooth privates. Makes privates look bigger and more nude.
I also trim my under arm hair with electric razor and some times full shave them.

20 years ago when I first saw a few SPs, one of them actually told me I should do some trimming. I don't blame her. I'm a hairy guy and back then didn't do ANY trimming.
These days I try to keep things well trimmed down there at all times, even if I'm not going to be naked in front of anyone. Just feels cleaner.

I know my master uses hair removal cream, then electric shaves away any strays. (Didn't see anyone mention hair removal creams as an option, so shared his method. Also reduces risk of razorburn, as razor plays such a minimal role then.)

I won't show any sign if no grooming is done, it isn't necessary, but might have to stop a few times to pick hair out of the mouth which can kill a mood depending how long it takes.
But am sure there's a spontaneous smile of appreciation when hair has been removed for my enjoyment. And makes it easier access to play with testies.

Nice to know. I didn’t know there was such a thing as hair removal cream. I’ll have to look it up. Personally i’ve been grooming for a couple of decades or so mostly for the reasons you mentioned. I was even grooming before i started the hobby. Not only was it a drag having a great bbbj being interrupted by a pubic hair in the mouth break but i also started seeing things from a woman’s perspective.
