I found it interesting to know each person sickness comfort food because depending of your "origin", culture, etc it can greatly varies!

I usually don't have an appetite when I'm sick, but for some reason I always end up eating junk food after not being able to tolerate anything lol.. I like ordering from Boustan, or eating ice cream

Physically sick - toast and chicken noodle soup.
Hung-over sick - either a pile of fruit or a bacon, eggs and potato breakfast.
Feeling a bit down and lacking energy - a huge pile of mashed potatoes with gravy. Or more likely, delivery. Benny's is my go-to lately.

Found it at those French imported grocery shops

Felt nostalgic and I bought some because when I was a kid it was the easiest way for me to make myself a quick meal. And yes more butter lol

The Chinese comfort food is having a congee: basically rice cooked with more water than just making rice. It turns into a rice porridge.
Simple version is with salt. Advance version is with pork slice and sometimes dried scallops.

It's warm and as it's porridgy it goes down your throat easily!

I m rarely sick but to cure an hangover
Corean fried Chicken
Birria tacos, quesadilla, torta
Pita sandwich (Tesfa, Omnivore, Sumac)
Italian style sub (Mono, Bossa or Renzo )
Poutine sometimes i like the one of ma poule mouillée or Schwartz
Sushi
+ Lot of water and betaine citrus.
