It’s frustrating… I feel like Leolist is manipulating ads and setting new pricing. Let me explain;

ever since humpchies and annonceintime went dark to be replaced by Leo list, I’ve been concentrating on finding gems on the site. I’m so apprehensive, so many too good to be true ads, almost like fools would pick…

Aside from that, I see girls ads changing prices from one week to the next without even bothering to change the ad or the pics… I have a feeling when one raises, all raise… It’s like a lateral effect. almost feels like it’s leolist posting one of those amazing ads and starting the up-price train… Probably to make the site look popular and valuable.

Anyways, I might be just yapping away here, but let me know if someone agrees.

I thought a "long time, no see" member was coming back... But after reading your post with no typos I realized I was wrong. I still can't figure out what the thread title means but your post is limpid.

I think that most of the ads on Leo lack complete credibility. I don't even care trying to know what it is all about.
Those not new to the business know who the real ones are. Most just looks like BS, not even bait and switch.

Oliver was never that bad lol, well almost never. Sometimes I thought he was doing it intentionally, I actually liked his spelling and writing style and looked forward to his posts.
He more than made up for it with his knowledge of SP, MP places and the Montreal street scene including restaurants and fast food joints.
LL is a waste of time not worth the effort to sift through all the BS and fake adds.

As a provider, it’s not even easy for us either. It costs us an arm and a leg for these ads. And half of my older clients don’t understand how to work the site. I had some older regulars come knock on my door because they told me they couldn’t figure out my number with the puzzle piece. I’ve actually not heard from a few elderly clients since the takeover. And the prices are rising because the cost of living has affected everyone. It’s not realistic to expect prices to stay the same as 3+ years ago when we are paying much more. This isn’t what we do just to scrape by but to actually make a living and live well.

OMG! I didnt even realize what I wrote last night! There must’ve been some French auto correct mixed in there and the fact I was a bit tipsy last nightthinking about the night before… A complete turn off encounter I had (coincidentally from a TOFTT annonce123 ad) - Don’t ask, I didn’t even stay!

I swear, I’m perfectly bilingual; able to read and write properly in several languages!

But yeah, I also thought about Oliver when I reread my thread title! ;P
Those were the good ol’ days… And the best ones! We montrealers were spoilers beyond belief!

I completely agree with you. Only 3 years ago was another world (literally COVID!), never mind 10-15 years ago.

Historically, the hobby went over the years from the 90’s to 2000’s to early 2010’s progressively. Kind of like salaries going up 3-5% a year…

On the flip side, while salaries were going up at the same rate, service providers shot up 20%-25%, even before the pandemic… Please don’t misinterpret what I’m saying, it’s your right to charge whatever you like, but it’s a far reach (and getting farther) for salaried individuals that don’t see the same hike.

I understand that it’s getting harder for salaried individuals, however with the cost of rent for example (1500$ for a 2 bedroom condo) not including other bills .. realistically it isn’t possible for a SW to charge less than 180/hr and that’s on the low end because Just to pay the rent it’s 9 clients in a month. Y’all complain when a provider has a lot of clients in one day, and then y’all complain about the price. We can never fully satisfy everyone. Don’t forget, this isn’t a guaranteed job.. and while most of us have our regular clientele.. stability isn’t guaranteed until that money is in our hands. We need to account for slower periods in the year also. It’s something to think about and take into consideration.

Ok 8 clients at 200$ a pop. Why 4 at 400$? Is it such a frightening time that you have to double the fees month over month?
I would’ve liked to be in the escorting biz and afford myself a 2 bedroom condo, nevermind my 2 bedroom apartment.

I’m not familiar with your reputation, if you are an established escorts It’s safe to say you’re doing OK for yourself.

FYI - If there’s anything this Pandemic taught me it’s that NO ONES job is guaranteed! It’s not like I can go into my bosse’s office and tell him, “hey bub, can you double my salary? In case of a rainy day”

Simple answer: because some johns agrees to pay these prices. So when faced with the choice of sucking 12 dicks or 6, I think the answer is a no brainer. If the SWs could get away with doing 1 client a month they would all jump on the oppurtinity, can't blame them.
