It`s hard to impossible to vaccinate those who would prefer to lose their jobs or die from covid rather than get a jab. Very true, but the real issue is if you're unamenable enough to reason to think a blathering, constantly contradictory person like Trump makes for a good president, you won't believe it when the fool actually gets one right. Trump has mentioned getting the vaccine and subtly urging people to get it in at a rally he held in Alabama since he left office. But he was booed! A similar thing (no booing) happened to Lindsey Graham at an event in South Carolina.
The Republican party has catered to anti-intellectualism and decrying expertise for a while. So Trump and Graham getting pushback for advocating the vaccine is just a case of "lie in the bed you made."
