Heureusement , la majorité des hommes qui nous côtoient sont des gentleman tout comme tu semble être ... mais ya toujours des exeptions qui confirme la regle.

Que ce soit envers une fille d'agence ou une Indy ... le respect devrait toujours etre le meme ... mais pour avoir fait l'experience ... j'ai eu l'impression de beaucoup plus de respect en tant qu'indy que du temps où j'ai travaillé et eu une agence.Je ne dis pas que cest bien ... mais je relate des faits tout simplement ...

En tant qu'indy , je ne me suis jamais retrouvé dans une chambre de motel avec un gars sur un trip de *coke* ou de *freebase* ... mais en agence : oui. J'espere et je souhaite que ce ne soit plus ainsi dans le monde des agences ... mais de mon temps (1998 à 2001) c'était ainsi!

À moins que ce soit à cause que dans mes debuts jetais plus naive et que les gars sen rendait compte ... hum possible aussi ... mais bon je crois que ce sont deux mondes differents quand meme ... il y a des bons cotés dans chacun d'eux ... c'est à la fille de trouver lequel des deux lui convient le mieux et aux clients de determiner dans quoi ils se sentent biens et comblés.

To try and encourage some of our unilingual friends to participate, I will try to summarize a bit of what has been said in French so far:

He says agencies are easier to reach, faster to book, but the few indies he has seen were fast and reliable in responding. Also, less "tired" because they generally work shorter shifts. He also says that he didn't really see a difference in service.

He was disappointed with agency service, except from Jessy @ MSC. Many delivery delays, girls not meeting his expectations, 5th client of the night... He says he always gets the straight facts with indies because of direct communication. And find them more interesting because they run their own show, therefore are more assertive and intelligent. He also likes the fact that all (translator note: I would change that to most, there are always expenses) the money goes to them. Also, not all great escorts are cut out to be indy, so agency managers like Jessy are a blessing to these girls.

If a client doesn't pass my gent test, no booking, just like you (Vero) say it is with indies. As far as "who is faking the most", I have no idea of how you base that assumption. When a girl refuses to repeat with a client, she has reasons, the most elusive one being "chemistry", the most obvious one, she didn't even want to pass the door... "Chemistry fails", I may send another girl, depending. In the other case, I call the client and explain why he shouldn't call again. Choosing the right clientèle over the phone is always an approximate science. Indies could ask for a picture or a coffee chat. In reference to the Anna N. thread, one could see that an agency girl has a better chance of not living this.

Jessy, I was misunderstood and misinterpreted. Apart from you, most agencies (esp male run ones) have no such "gentleman test". By personalized service, I mean that having no driver or boss, she can offer free extras and-or stay longer without having to account for her tie and services. They may sound like a gent, but what about when your girls meet them and they are not? I've been there, what do you do then?

I wouldn't book an independent escort for an hour, because I am aware that is not where they shine. Their rate scale pretty well indicates this.

I also know for having lived it, that some indy girls will make repeat, multi-hour dates very financially competitive to the clientele they want to repeat the most with. In the end she is the one who makes the decision to lower her fee, but get more "good" bookings.

It's a very difficult and potentially hazardous thing for an agency to start setting VIP rates. It will breed jealousy in this closely monitored community, and because of the support staff involved, hard to implement.

I really liked Passionate's point about being more "turned on" by a woman of substance, one who is smart enough to run her own show with success. I am of the same school of thought.

Jessy, I think you and MSC are an asset to this community, the girls and the clientele. You and Peter (and Billy of the Devilish morning shift) have always put a more humane face on what it is agencies do, and I know that we have many principles in common.

Maxime, you say some interesting things, indies do like longer dates, and I would hope that if they post a one hour rate, they are treating those clients equitably. Otherwise what is the use of posting one? About indies leaving phones on, I have to say that is one of the things which irritated me most in agency bookings. As well as girls "putting a timer" on their cellphones, and arranging for the timer to go off in time for a very leisurely shower. Indies have never left early on my watch. An indy girl, in my opinion, has way more to lose by a negative review. No one to go to bat for her...

I have found what Véro said to be true: agency service is more "equal", while with an indy you can either get indifference or fireworks. Again, NOT a blanket statement, but true for me most of the time.

Another "not blanket" statement: a girl with behaviour or substance problems may do ok in a more controlled environment such as an agency, but will have a hard time cutting it as a successful indy .

If I was a client who liked to see a great variety of young ladies for mostly one hour dates, agencies would be my choice. But because of my style, indies may be the way to go. I will be big enough to admit if I have made a mistake, and will report back to the community!

The ladies that you saw were in the wrong. As indies they have the prerogative to see who they want, and what kind of appointment to accept or refuse. But once a date is made, this is Montréal, you did the research, you have legitimate expectations.

If you prefer shorter encounters, agencies may be more naturally suited to this. The girls work mostly in that environment and are very adept at timing the session so you get your money`s worth.

For me, I have found that it was the agency girls (not all but a number of them) who would exhibit odd behaviour on the longer dates.

The smart indy lady will try to find out what you`re like (and what you like...) in the first few minutes, and from then on ensure that you have a night to remember if she has smarts and likes you enough to do it pleasantly . She doesn`t have have the ad placement budget big agencies have. Repeats, reviews, word of mouth, those are her best assets.

And I agree with you: any girl, wherever she works, who makes you feel during the date that you are ``small fry`` to her, is failing at the art of the companion badly. She is there in great part to leave you feeling good about yourself, not like some kind of ``replacement client``. You sound like a kind, welcoming type of person who doesn`t deserve this.

When I first started out hobbying.. In my early 20`s..
I always called agencys..
And my grand re-introduction to the sport... Came with specific urges..that I just can`t see happening with a driver, boss,and other clients .. All waiting after me to finish ...
So the reasons that I`ve mainly been seeing indy`s is simple..
The direct contact.. One on one.
The fact that the majority of indy`s I see.. Somehow end up being `friends`..
( which is great.. But we can`t forget the dynamics of our relationship)
... I also tend to get fantastic multiple-hour rates..
And out of the 3 weekend escapades I`ve done on impulse ..2 of them were free ..
( aside from the accomodations of course)
...
All depending if your looking in the lower grade companion..
Or budget busting `high/class` companion type..
It involves a lot of searching.. And trial and error.
...
The main advantage.. Is depending how you play your cards.. And where you look..
You get a sense of exclusivity...
..
And the down side is that..if ever your un-satisfied.. You can`t do much except .. Never go back?
With the respectful agencys.. I`ve had moments where due to my mediocre experience..
They offered to make things right..
..
Like I`ve said before.. The indy`s.. Are where I get my kicks..
And I can understand how someone who doesn`t have the time to waste .. Finding the 10 gems in every 1000 advertisements ...would prefer to call the big boys..
Just don`t fall for the obvious ``2 good to be true `` girls..which are the same as some `bait & switch` agencys.,...

very interesting thread...the thing you have to remember with a indy...the first meeting depends of you guys...but repeats are our choice...it makes for a meeting when both of us has to enjoy our time together...I don't know for sure of course as I do not know agency really but I would think that an agency girl do not have that freedom of choice...
