Drummondville Poutine Festival

Do any of you attend the festival?
It is actually quite entertaining. Good bands, beer tent, many different poutine vendors. Quebecers from all over attend this.

Went a few times few years ago but it was much smaller. Now I see that it's getting bigger and bigger. Drumondville fucking impress me. A town in the middle of fucking nowhere that now has 2 major festival and has economically attract many enterprise. I think it has the highest job rate of all Quebec!

Do you have an idea how much Poutine they could sell if I attend ? Efficient advertising right there, my dear.

I have not missed one in 7 years, some of the poutine cabanas have 50 person lineups. It is a good time, bands, beer and poutine.
As for the Drummondville economy it was hot and they were building many new houses and businesses were setting up shop, it is a buyers market for housing now, cooled a but as they went crazy for a few years. Still lots of jobs available though.

If you are in Drummondville for the Poutine Festival, go and eat at the Odyssée Resto Ambiance on Lindsay street. They serve good food, and have one of the best terrasse in Quebec ( was on the Les Affaires magazine last year with the 10 best terrasse in Quebec ). They serve poutine and have a special poutine menu during the festival.

Good point, since I live there I can enjoy myself and take a cab home. When I went to the VIP gatherings I had to limit my drinking so I could get home, not too much fun.
For locals it is a great event, thousands of people show up, the poutine is everywhere and the beer is flowing.

Went there last year, its about an hours drive from chez moi, enjoyed it! May go this year if I can get a designated driver.
