How about Airbnb? Easier to book and you can say you are a couple when you check in.
I've had good experiences in airbnb's but I can see how it could go wrong.. I also wouldn't stay in one if I was touring and hosting

Would like to know from an SP point of view, on a first time meeting, what is the best etiquette or conversation topics to have, and suggestions of how a client should be out going and/or direct in his communication style?

Also, as an SP, do you feel encounters are better the first time or with a regular type of client meeting monthly, ie is there an advantage of being a regular client.

I'd say the type of thing we don't usually want to hear is gossip against other providers, comparisons, mention of previous reviews and questions about the industry..

As a SP I often prefer seeing clients I've met before, the advantage is the connection and things feel more natural.. however it depends. Sometimes I'm really excited about meeting certain new clients. Also it's not because someone is my regular client that he's one of my favorites..

Be yourself! Cliché, I know.

You talk about the same subject as on a first date. Maybe not "where do you live", but passions, restaurants, activities, projects, school, etc. Remember that you will not be the only one doing the conversation, so the other person will talk too, so no worries and let it flow!

Though, I am not sure what you mean when you say "suggestions of how a client should be out going and/or direct in his communication style?" ?

I think we appreciate if you talk about your interests, tell us a bit about yourself.. ask her about her taste in music, film, etc. just be yourself and act as if you were on a date but without asking questions that are too personal.. personally I like it when clients allow themselves to be outgoing, it shows they're in a good mood and have a positive attitude. But some people are shy and that's fine too

i know you didn't ask clients, so maybe out of line, but i'm a "repeat" kind of guy so 1st date are often not as good as the following ones. So for me there's clearly an advantage in being a "regular", for that and for several other reasons.

Yeah I find that sessions tend to improve over time with many clients. I think most of us try to keep our clients.. but I often know at this point who will repeat and who won't.

I had some amazing first dates with clients, then the second was a disaster.

I’ve had some awkward first dates and then the next ones were completely amazing. It all depends
