This will do nothing in answering my original question, but I will make a poll asking merb clients to self-rate their physical attractiveness, once my current poll on friendship ends. Should be interesting.

There is one large factor that you are missing.
Like most men it is not that I can’t attract women at all that I see escorts the problem is that I am not attracted to the ones that I can easily attract.
In my younger days it would never have entered my mind to see escorts as I could pretty much find as many as I wanted.

Obviously what I am talking about is that while I would have lived 2 lifetimes with my wife and she was just as gorgeous when she aged, that does not hold true for women that I am not head over heels in love with.
Women in my age bracket do not attract me at all even if they fall into being the most attractive for their age. Now attracting one half my age unfortunately does not work well even if you are decent looking for your age.

Then there is the other matter that most of these women come with a shit load of baggage, they have already managed to screw up their life maybe more than once and all they want is a financial benefactor plus who on earth wants to deal with their lunatic families and mine would have a real hard time accepting them after their mom.

It sometimes has nothing to do with how attractive you are that you see escorts, sometimes it is just way easier to have zero commitment and to see someone who is really gorgeous in your eyes and if you are lucky enough like me then you manage to find an escort who is not only gorgeous and kind but one that you become close friends with.

I understand why you're asking this question and while I get why you don't want to pay a lot of money if you can't touch the SP, some of us have a social rate. I've allowed clients I already knew to hold my hand during a movie but they still paid for social time.. but generally social time doesn't involve any kind of physical affection.

I think 2h and 4h dates are very generous etc and I think some SP might accept it but many of us wouldn't.. personally I probably wouldn't because I often don't have the time and energy, unless it was a special occasion. It shouldn't be taken personally that the SP can't do this...

You're paying for the person's time. If I'm going to see a movie, I will go alone or with a friend on my own time.. I hope this helps

What we are buying from S.P.'s is time, (everybody's most precious commodity) whether it is intimate, social or leisure. Asking for free leisure time is asking for a freebie. And the provider is free to do what she wants with her own time with whomever she chooses to spend it with. Also the S.P. might feel pressured to accept something for fear of damaging a good relationship with a regular. I for one don't want that. Finally I'm glad I asked and I certainly learned something today.

Not at all. After 1 they get easier, and they can keep coming. The more I get the more I want. If I try to hold out on purpose, it might not happen at all after.

I do that sometimes, too. Idk why rates have to be brought up. I do go an extra mile for some clients when I can.. It has to do with how respectful the person is and if my energy levels and my schedule allow it. I don't want to talk about what I do for clients because I don't want it to be expected. This is something I'm offering on my own terms.

No, it's not like working a full day for free. I agree with you 100%, and that's not what LC was implying either. Also; what Giselle said. If a client books me for a 4 hour date frequently, obviously I will say yes to seeing a movie with him off the clock.. That just hasn't happened yet.

I don't offer people presents with the intention of receiving something for free.. That's just me, tho. Yes, getting caught up in good conversations can lead to the appointment ending a little later. But if I have to leave, I have to leave. Reality is that if you paid for a certain amount of time, you shouldn't complain if the person is asking you to leave or is leaving when the time is up.

The message earlier wasn't that it's unreasonable to ask to go to the movies for free with a regular SP you're seeing for long bookings frequently, in my opinion it's okay to ask for that.. the message was that the person actually might refuse and it should not be expected.. if you want an arrangement with someone, you can also discuss it with her. Many SP will accept a reasonable arrangement. Some won't, not because they're cruel bitches who hate their clients, but because they don't have the time for it. (maybe they have kids, they're in school, have health problems etc who knows)

I would be really pleased if my clients booked me very often. I'm always happy to have regular clients and to develop a connection with the same people. I love meeting new clients, but it's easier when the ice is broken.. If a client is respectful and we have good conversation, there's no reason why I would feel like he's booking me too much! I'm always looking for regular clients.

The only thing that would bother me is if the client developed unrealistic expectations and became too demanding.. As you see in this thread, it's expected by certain clients that when they are regulars we should be offering something extra.. This bothers me tbh even if I understand.. not because I'm cold hearted and don't think my clients deserve it. I just feel uneasy if I know there are unspoken expectations, particularly if I have a feeling it could go too far.. I want to give an example but I don't want to write about this here.
