Damn Hellebuyck wouldnt stop a fucking beach ball !!! He’s 24 goals in 6 games.
This series is not over yet, but Hellebuyck's poor playoff performance is very concerning. One would hope he will be better in game 7.

At this point, if the Jets get kicked out in the first round, he will have to take all the blame. At $10M next season, if I was him, I wouldnt hang downtown Winnipeg this summer!
When he is not hunting and fishing with his buddies, pretty sure Hellebuyck hangs out in Detroit, which is the area he comes from and where Red Wings fans would very much ike to see him come home and play.. I believe Hellebuyck has said that former Red Wings goalie Jimmy Howard is one of his idols/heroes, and also a mentor and an inspiration to him.

He’s been absolutely terrible in every playoffs he’s played in. I saw a report this morning indicating why this could be so: HE PLAYS WAY TOO MUCH IN THE REGULAR SEASON AS COMPARED TO THE REST OF THE LEAGUE! By the time the playoffs start he’s burnt out! Anyways all the Jets have to do now is score more goals than the Blues. Stop relying on your ineffective all-star goalie to bail you out.

The Jets have made Hellebuyck a workhorse goalie and believe they can ride him as he endures the horse-like workload. However, if they had an effective backup goalie and reduced his load, he would probably be sharper in the playoffs.

But we are seeing weird home/road splits with his performance that is not really consistent with the theory that he is worn out.

Regardless, tomorrow night he has to step up or his Vezina Trophy will feel extremely unfulfilling.

There was even talk yesterday afternoon wondering if he shouldn’t be pulled for game 7 if he didn’t play better in game 6. I doubt this will happen mostly because the other guy hasn’t played much this season. However the Oilers may not need in the playoffs anymore had they not benched starting goalie Stuart Skinner in favor of journeyman Calvin Pickard. Now Pickard has claimed the #1 job for their second round series.

True fact: Colorado will try to win their first 7th game in 23 years, they’ve lost 6 #7 game in a row since winning against the Sharks in 2002!!!

I think they are going to make it 7 in a row. I have nothing against them but the Stars are a good team and home ice means a lot. I also think the Stars have the edge in goal

Ayoye,....so tonight is the night.....lol....about time....GO AVS.
Rantanen has 8 points in 6 games in this series to lead Dallas, but his retaliation and revenge against the team that spurned him will not be complete until the Avs are defeated. He is very hungry to accomplish the defeat of the Avs, still stung by the trade for a player who he knows isn't as good as he is.

But the Avs have a 1-0 lead.
