It's frustrating that clients don't want to screen because it's about our safety. I don't see how that could indicate a scam. "You're using a textapp yourself and a fake name".. yeah but I'm very easily recognizable, there's a ton of information about me online and I'm the one who welcomes a male stranger into my space for intimacy.

Anyways I don't really want to launch that debate again.
in a perfect world, doesnt seem like those users are the type of client any normal personal/provider would want anyway, right?

In my personal experience, most of the time , they aren't. Other providers would say the same.

If you don’t like her screening procedure, just book another one that you were comfortable with hers instead.
So far I never had bad session with indies. I take time to do my homework. Some ask deposit some ask reference some ask ID and some ask for all of the above.
Sometime my regulars would recommend me to see one of their collegues based on my preferences and they were always right!!!!
From what I see, most reputable providers in Montreal ask for a deposit.
