I would say it's a kind of peer pressure tactics for the findom SW.

And mainly bragging for the rest.

Maybe a very small amount for appreciation in like you were in a hard financial situation.

I understand the reasons why, I don't understand the act itself. I was reffering to escorts (it makes sense for findommes, completely different). Regardless of the reason, I find it tacky. Bragging about money on social media in itself is tacky, and we can say thank you a multitude of ways that don't involve a screenshot of an email from our bank

It makes sense in the context of findom if you understand how it is but I agree with you. Showing large checks is tacky. However I think it's almost as if everything is wrong when it comes to that sort of thing.. if you show you're not doing well, people are upset. If you show you're doing well, people are upset. If you show gifts/dinner dates, it might make some angry or jealous. If you don't show them, the client might be upset or offended.
