I'm watching "Confessions of a Brazilian Call Girl". The film vaguely makes me think of an American provider that told me they view intimacy on the job through a rational lens and intimacy outside of work through an emotional lens. She detailed situations of it being way easier to set boundaries with clients than with partners outside of work. This isn't 100% related to the film and I'm not even half way yet but I'm glad @LC18 brought up this film. This film also makes me think of the Harriette Wilson episode of the Textory podcast where a Polish woman reads 200 year old memoirs of a provider that was providing 224 years ago

I finished watching the Bruna Surfistinha film where she rates her clients. If you don't speak Portuguese one pun you might have missed is women named "Kelly and Mel" (in Portuguese Kelly com Mel) make a site called kellycommel. In Portuguese that sounds like "que lie com mel" taking everything literally, it would be like imagining someone named Kelly dipped in honey. @LC18

Adaline Rose, Ava Tarkovsky, Baby Li-Anna, I've never seen more providers taking indefinite leaves or retiring at once in Montreal. One or two others also. Edit: just based on what they've announced

As I get ready to head back to MTL I'm hoping for the day they break ground on the 401 corridor high-speed rail line. I put very little faith in the promises of politicians but this one I really hope makes it to reality.

Question is why should they be dressed up nice for no reason? Most people are just out running errands.

Anything that is not t-shirt, beach sandals, ballcap, bermudas, spandex in the city. I was actually thinking more about men than women, but this applies to both.
I'm so sad that Ava is leaving
