Something a little more positive for a change. There’s less than 100 days left to this year. Is there someone you’ve been wanting to see this year and haven’t been able to? Is there a restaurant you’ve been wanting to try? Is there a trip you’ve been planning? Are you happy with how the year went so far?

Let’s debrief, with respect and without trolling

world events aside it's been a good year. I'm hoping for one more visit with a wonderful sp I met this year before the year ends. hope to also fit in a trip to the UK.

It wasn't a great year for me, but at this moment I feel like I'm generally happy with the direction I'm heading towards.. things are starting to make a bit more sense. I have a trip planned to Isla Mujeres in Mexico, for the first week of December, I'm really excited about that. :) I have a huge list of restaurants I want to try with one of my friends, one of them is Bistro Boisselet..

I had only 6 meeting in 2026. 5 of them were great. So i would say it was a positive year. The sole one who was not sadly tough really left a mark for me and i wish things would had gone differently for that one. But you can't win them all as they say. As for whats left with 2026 for me, i dunno. I still have that duo in mind that i been wanting to do for a while but i also really wanted to meet Vanessa at Euphoria, so in that regard i dunno whats gonna happen. Hopefully she resurface somewhere and i can meet her... It has become harder for me to go to Montreal tough because the only "normal bus" who did it been on strike since March and im starting to think it will never come back. The other "bus" is mostly a regional service aimed at taking old folks to hospitals or such. You can take it but they reduced their hours and days significantly since a few years ago. Basically only hours they have now is taking it at 8 am and for the return its 4 pm... It complicate things a lot. I live in a small town sadly on the wrong side of the "larger town" wich from there all transportations are easily accessible. Otherwise i have to relay on peoples to drive me...

As for the rest, been a decent year without being that exeptional. Since last year i been participating in a new project in my town and it has grown a bit since, but not as much as i wish it had. I realized the corporate stuff sometimes is really a pain to deal with as administration council and such need to approve everything ... But still its a work in progress.

The one part that does gives me a bit of stress when i think about it is our place once again is for sale... Last time we were lucky, the person who bough just wanted it for the commercial part in front and wanted to rent the rest. But it didn't last long and now its again an appartement. So it will depend who buy it. If we lucky they will just buy to rent it too, but if they want to live here, thats gonna be a hard blow. Its very cheap, its very big with 4 bedrooms, altough its old and definately would need renovation, but basically if we are forced to move we would pay probably 1.5x what we pay now for smaller ... and we have a lot of stuff. So yeah that part is stressful.
