For myself when receiving, I prefer motel. Why? Because they offer a 4 hour siesta rate. It does not make sense to pay for the entire night for a 1 to 2 hr appointment.
Hotel all the way.
From the few pictures I saw of some motels it doesn't look very attractive ... I don't know if I can do anything inside ... Some look out of the 60s with furnitures and beddings having they colors vanished. And maybe I have watched too much American movies and TV series showing a motel.
I would say all hotel aren't made equals as well. I have the same "visual" criteria.
For me it's about the experience for me and for her.
I am searching hotels via hotelsbyday (tried dayuse but wasn't successful at first) and the hotels I used provides like 5h and sometimes more.
In downtown, hotel monville (7h) and the DoubleTree Hilton (8h).

Hotels by far.. motels can be really far from central areas and honestly I feel like they are less discreet. I had a regular client last week that I saw at a motel near Sauve Metro and I didn't mind it because it was accessible and he always rented the biggest rooms with hot tubs. But it's obvious to everyone there what we're here for. I always saw him during the day which made it easier.. but if in the evening a ton of ppl see me being greeted by a 80 year old man in a motel hallway they know what's up.
Motels have their charm.. I did a birthday party in this motel in Longueuil that has really 80s decor and a heart shaped hot tub. It was fun.. but I often notice there's more police around them and overall chaos. Once I went to a motel very far with a duo partner and the guy ghosted us. As soon as we arrived all these cop cars showed up. This was in 2022 when I first began escorting and my friend was also new. We were terrified and ran off. I've also heard of people seeing clients and hearing ppl scream in other rooms at these types of motels ...
I like hotels because they are comfortable, no cigarette smell, usually very easy to reach as well..
This.. I've seen clients at Monville many times. It's accessible and even if the rooms are small it's classy and elegant and close to restaurants etc
Hotel. I worked too hard for too long to stay at the same cheap roadside spots I did in my 20s to save money. Everyone is more comfortable and safe and I feel it takes a little bit of edge off a session from both parties to stay somewhere nice.

I don’t accept to visit motels anymore. They make me uncomfortable
I would still accept them under certain circumstances, but I understand why. I rarely get these requests anyways.
Yeah motel ideal near métro sauvé is chill and accessible. I also like that they have hot tubs in a lot of the rooms and mirrors lol but I've only been during the day
Yeah, me too. I don't go to Chabrol / Chablis either. The vibe is not reassuring.
Not a fan of those either. They are also very out of the way. I unfortunately accepted to have an overnight once at one of those and it was a terrible experience..
I tend to not visit those either for my safety and comfort. I’ve had bad experiences
I've had good experiences in airbnb's but I can see how it could go wrong.. I also wouldn't stay in one if I was touring and hosting
Would like to know from an SP point of view, on a first time meeting, what is the best etiquette or conversation topics to have, and suggestions of how a client should be out going and/or direct in his communication style?
Also, as an SP, do you feel encounters are better the first time or with a regular type of client meeting monthly, ie is there an advantage of being a regular client.

I'd say the type of thing we don't usually want to hear is gossip against other providers, comparisons, mention of previous reviews and questions about the industry..
As a SP I often prefer seeing clients I've met before, the advantage is the connection and things feel more natural.. however it depends. Sometimes I'm really excited about meeting certain new clients. Also it's not because someone is my regular client that he's one of my favorites..
