This is the equivalent of killing Heinrich Himmler (head of the SS) during WW2. Good work by Israel!

The ability of the Mossad, Israel's intelligence agency, to penetrate deep inside Iran and its government is incredible. The Mossad deserves a Nobel Peace Prize for its role in helping to disable Iran's nuclear program and its murderous regime. And the Mossad's starring role in the attack on Iran comes on the heels of its starring role in the wars against Hezbollah and Hamas.

...It is the latest operation to show how deeply Israel’s intelligence services, including the Mossad, have penetrated some of Iran’s most closely guarded secrets. The operations have made the Mossad appear a nearly unstoppable force in Iran, capable of hitting at some of its highest-ranking officials and most sensitive sites.

“Mossad has treated Iran like its playground for years now,” said Holly Dagres, a senior fellow at the Washington Institute and curator of the Iranist newsletter.

“From assassinating top nuclear scientists to sabotaging Iranian nuclear facilities, Israel has proved time and time again that it has always had the upper hand in this shadow war that has now been playing out in the open since the first tit-for-tat strikes in April 2024.”

An Israeli security source said the latest operation required commando forces operating deep within Tehran and across the country while avoiding detection from Iran’s security and intelligence agencies. The source said Mossad teams targeted air defense missiles, ballistic missiles, and missile launchers as the attack from the Israeli Air Force began.

A second Israeli security source said the Mossad operations were years in the making, involving both intelligence-gathering efforts and the deployment of Mossad commandos deep behind enemy lines.

Some of the Mossad commando forces operated in the Iranian capital itself, according to the security source...

I just hope they have what it takes to finish what they started without going around begging other countries to help them do it for them

If anyone think Israel is the worlds humanitarian of the decade, you’re absolutely delusional and fell into their propaganda.

Iran definitely needed a military smackdown to show them they are not the power they think they are and to get the world to look at them for what they really are- wannabes.

Right now, it's look like a complete rout of Iran's air defense capabilities by Israel and its only been 4 days.

Something I didn't expect.

Neither did the mullahs or their henchmen.

In any case, there was not much they could do about it. Israel had already knocked out a lot of Iran's air defense system after Iran's missile/drone attacks of last fall.

Furthermore, Iran has always had a relatively weak air defense system. Instead Iran has relied on the deterrence effect of having their terrorist proxies (Hezbollah, Hamas, the Houthis, Syria etc.) attack Israel if Israel attacked Iran. But after Israeli knocked out most of those groups, that threat is no longer there. Israel has total command of the air and they are making great use of it. The only thing they lack is the capacity to drop really big bombs on Iran's most protected nuclear sites. That would require B2 and B52 bombers from the U.S. So far the U.S. has refrained from sending them but the threat is real.

The rumor is that Trump will be ordering American B2 bombers to strike on Iran tonight or early tomorrow!

If the U.S. were to use B2 bombers they will not be hitting Tehran. They would hit Iran’s heavily fortified nuclear sites that are located outside Tehran.

A very preliminary info indicates that some tankers (at least one under US flag) were hit by Iran at the Strait of Hormuz. The US involvement at this stage is inevitable.

Personally i think this Iranian regime needed to go. Even Iranians wanted these peoples away. They been oppressing them for years. You remember

Armita Geravand

She was beaten to death by the (im)moral police. Her crime? Not wearing a head scarf.

Israel is basically doing the dirty work for a lot of other nations and the Iranians themselves.

With that said its very sad that over 20 peoples died in Israel. After the horrible massacre of Oct 7 + the death of soldiers since then... more deaths due to terror regimes is really sad.

In a perfect world there would be no war and everybody would get along, but its sadly impossible. And it seem that religion is often at the center of the conflict.

I think the iranian regime needs to go, but that is up to Iranians to decide when and how. That idea that we bring civilization to the rest of the world is the cause of the unstable world we currently live in today. The cancer of that is destroying the planet is colonialism. Let's have a dialogue even if we don't agree with each other. It is always better than nuking each other to death.

You guys sound like every neocon in 2002 trying to convince everyone to invade Iraq, not even creative enough to change the script. And that war was just lovely wasn't it
