The past long weekend felt like the three longest days in my life, because of the weather, and because I had absolutely nothing to do. It's interesting how the way we experience the passage of time is highly subjective. Memories from only days ago felt very distant.

I wasn't thinking of including that in the story! She and her friends are supposed to defeat an evil force taking over the world and they all have different powers. One of her friends practices cyber magic.

The brain is pretty weird. I feel like when I was a child and a teenager, time went by a lot more slower. I was very unhappy and bored at school, so it makes sense.. Also social media wasn't a thing like it is now. I think different things can affect our memory and the way we perceive time tbh. Trauma and depression among other things will do that. It's funny but every time I've used magic mushrooms, time seemed to stretch.. but it was pleasant.

I feel like I'm getting closer to one of my colleagues lately (after hanging out with them in a non-work setting) and it's making me happy. I love building meaningful friendships through this job. The people in our community are so interesting and it's nice to get to know them outside of their work persona!!

I won't name anyone so this doesn't come across as an ad in the lounge, but I'm manifesting duos with this person. Haha
