I might not be a great listener but I can assure you that I am actually a very good reader!
Okay here are a few questions for clients.
1- What made you decide to take the plunge and see a SP for the first time? Some friends of mine think all men have seen a SP once in their lives at least, but I'm not sure how true that is.
2- Why do you consider seeing escorts a hobby? What makes it comparable to other hobbies of yours? It's something I've always wondered since I joined the industry
3- What makes you enjoy participating in this forum aside from reading reviews?

I didn’t know what I was getting into, I went to a very famous Massage Place at the time, and I got screwed!
1. 5 years after my wife passed away I felt that I needed to see if it would still feel great to be with a woman so I looked through hundreds of web sights and photographs and kept going back to the same one all the time. It took me about 6 months before I finally contacted her. She has been my ATF ever since.
2. I don’t consider it a hobby sports and chess are a hobby. The 2 ladies I see most often have become friends and I enjoy their company. Sex I consider to be an essential part to keep a man healthy both physically and mentally.
3. I am retired, my children work during the day and grandchildren are in daycare and school so I have a lot of time on my hands. It is just a form of entertainment, I can take it or leave it. I don’t take it seriously. Reviews don’t really interest me much I am quite capable to do my own research and I can always ask the 2 ladies I see to recommend one of their friends if I want a bit of variety or something different.

The first time I read the term hobby to describe this activity I thought it was so appropriate: something that I do to entertain myself in my free time.
Compare to my other hobbies, well it similarly cost money and if I don’t restrain myself it can cost a lot, same as buying a too expensive boat or a too expensive guitar!
1- Wanting a foot job really badly, but the girlfriend at the time not really being good at giving them. It's hard to say if all men, or even most men have seen them, it's not really something I would mention to my friends. But there are those who openly mention, discuss it and hire together, so... I'm sure some haven't.
2- For me it's not a hobby, it's literally a sexual addiction -- same as how I flirt and go out to meet women. With escorts, though, I can essentially decide on the activity and the escort decides on the price. It's less fun than chasing, going out, having one night stands or hook ups through dating and all, but I like explaining what I'm into and getting that rather than romantically, organically building up to it.
I'd simply say I can be more honest with escorts because the fear of rejection isn't as important, it's essentially a business deal that is either accepted by both parties, or null and void. With seduction and all that, it's significantly more time consuming to "open up". For me, at least. Some people are probably much more straightforward, but my interests are far more kinky overall, but I still prefer seduction vs. the BDSM crew.
3- Since I don't talk about this to anyone, it's nice to see people who understand a part of my world that will probably stay forever hidden to my family and friends, etc... Obviously plenty of guys hire escorts and are aware of this world, but I've been doing it a long time, probably addicted at this point.
At first it was for guidance and reviews, obviously. But it became a hobby in itself! There are so many different topics and different minds, it can be fascinating.
It's funny, I joined here long after having experience in the matter, and I've of course fallen for every trick in the book and met all kinds of characters.
I think I occasionally come here for reviews, more specifically for dodging scams when I'm feeling really horny and less security-minded (I sometimes still do it, god dang risk-taking lol). But it's nice to speak openly without hiding what is a big facet of my life.
But what made you choose to go to the massage parlor in the first place? And why massage instead of an agency or indy?
I wasn’t looking to get laid, so escorts agencies and/or indies were absolutely not on my radar. I was just curious to experiment with erotic massage, so I started with a well known independent masseuse, she was incredible and I saw her a few times, no fs or bj or anything like that.
One day, while chatting, she mentioned this massage parlor, saying that I might like it. Worth mentioning is also the fact that she was retiring soon.
LOL I went to a massage parlor in the middle of night in St Henri around 2010 when I was totally fiending and pretty inexperienced.
The poor lady was like, tapping me to turn me over, but I was unsure about the protocol, so I didn't turn over or anything. It was basically just a normal massage at 3 AM.
1.Novelty first i would said, i don't think humans are supposed to be monogamous. Probably the whole "things i don't do at home" part, so some kinky stuff, BDSM mostly. Exploring new stuff too, some of my best experiences were with transexuals for example, threesome etc. If i were to introspect i would probably say there are more intimate reasons but that's something i would share in a session not on a forum.
2.It's not a hobby, collecting stamps is a hobby. There are many different reasons to use the term, i would guess. i am at peace with what i do and don't feel the need to hide behind another word. I also dislike acronyms but that's another topic entirely
3.I've always loved forums more than social networks, i guess sharing experiences and opinions can be fun. I also appreciate having SW like yourself sharing stuff here, it's less impersonal
1. Let's see. I went to massage parlors during the 2007 recession. Was intrigued at first then it became regularly for like 2 years. I then stopped for many years. Once I turned 30, wanted to treat myself and explore further so went to see a SP through the Indy companion website. Couple years later I stopped only to go back to a MP exclusively (through Indy). And now, back to seeing SPs
2. I don't consider this a hobby. Don't like the word. I see it as companionship. Spending some time with someone and sharing an activity that I wouldn't be able in my personal life. Also, this kind of fits my vibe as in I have a hard time planning something with friends and seeing it through cause I don't feel like going meanwhile with SP, I can plan a whole evening weeks or months in advance and will be happy to go lol
3. Back in my MP days, it was to read and share and attend some events. Met some interesting folks and SPs that I later saw. A lot of them did retire so yeah. Still some familiar faces from like 10 years ago. Anyway. Tbh, I left this site many years ago, I don't know why I am even back. The vibe is definitely better than before. I also use the ignore function which is something I didn't previously. Probably because I don't have the patience anymore
It's honestly refreshing to read that many of you don't view this as a hobby. I find the term a bit dehumanizing but I also understand it's part of the lingo here
