The thought hit me today, eventually we all have to go to that great beyond and get in line. As the line went thru, the big man would ask everyone in turn what accomplishments he's had in his lifetime and we'd all be stuck behind that guy who wrote three best selling books. Then I got to thinking, we've got some authors here on Merb who by post count could easily have written a few books (bestsellers im not so sure
).
Doc Holliday, over 10,000 posts and I remember reading his reports on Canbest way back when. I think we can award him 15,000 posts easily. 15k posts is at least a mini-series. That mini-series would have been set in the old west, rustling women and raping cattle. Throw in some hockey comments and he's all set to wander off into the sunset.
Rumpleforeskin, 5,239 posts. Seems like more than that though. We'll give him credit for writing two books, both tragic romance novels. They can be found in the bargain basement bin but the re-read is as painful as the movie's coming out in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
SpecialK, just over 4,000 posts. He's credited with a book on one liners and the autobiography of the boston red sox. He brought the big man a case of beer to grease the wheels, he's in that lounge chair in the sky sitting next to Manny Ramirez.
