The "I Know What You Did..." movies are definitely a step down from the Scream franchise. They're a bit dumb, but they're also fun.

Just crushing the Clive Barker huh? I love seeing references/homages to classic horror in newer movies like Cabin in the Woods or The Night House but my favourite Hellraiser-adjacent movie is Event Horizon.
Okay, I watch a lot of movies, but I don't really post any reviews here, because the title throws me off"
I have watched in past years all of the final destination movies and this one is the worst of the batch as far as acting goes. I love gore, blood and all and the suspense is always a bonus. But man, was the acting horrible in this one, the only one that could pass as acting was Eric, he made the movie bearable and don't get me started on Stephanie's father, he was the worst of the cast, all of the 4 word lines that they gave him, terrible. Where did they dig these people up. If I wasn't a fan of gore and the past final destination movies, I would of shut it off after the first set of gore sequences and it happened that shortly after that, when Stephany goes home, her father was introduced, boring.
Like I said, Eric, the cousin, but not really as we find out later, was the best of them as far as the acting goes, and he has been seen in other movies and tv shows. He made the movie tolerable.
And as far as the ending goes, well, lets just say, its not the final destinations final destination, there will be another, hopefully with some up and coming stars that can actually act, at least a little.

Okay, I watched The Amateur recently, I liked the plot line, the action, mystery and Lawrence Fishburne, but I found it hard to relate with Rami Malek as Charles Heller playing a wanna be James bond. Okay I know he's not supposed to be a spy, but an analyst, and still, I wished they would of gotten almost anyone else for this role, I would of been happier with Garfield then Malek. I did like Malek in the last Bond movie as the villain and maybe even as Freddie mercury but he's just not an action guy. My opinion, I just don't see it. I did watch it twice, just to see if I would change my mind, but I didn't, but I do like Fishburne, he's always good for some fun and action type movies.

My opinion was the entire opposite: I thought Malik was great in The Amateur (but not so great as the villain in No Time to Die - seemed miscast). In general, he's a very good actor though (I'm a huge Mr. Robot fan).
As far as the movie goes, I liked it. It showed how his revenge comes at a cost (i.e. casualties caught in the crossfire, etc.). But I also remember the ending as a little far fetched.
I'd probably give it a 8/10.

The Naked Gun (2025)
When i first that they’d be coming out with an updated version of this great movie franchise i felt that it wasn’t needed & when i later heard that it would star Liam Neeson i first thought it was a joke & that people were just speculating. However i was so wrong. THIS IS THE FUNNIEST MOVIE I’VE SEEN IN YEARS! Liam Neeson is absolutely great in the role of Frank Drebin Jr. it also features a terrific Pamela Anderson as his love interest & Paul Walter Hauser as the main villain. This movie isn’t necessarily a remake but it’s more of a sequel to the Naked Gun franchise starring the late Leslie Nielsen. Great script, lots of laughs & a movie that i’ll likely end up watching again! I see a very successful new movie franchise in the near future! I rate it 4 out of 5 stars. I recommend!
Its really in the middle for me.
Its a decent movie in itself, but i felt like i was thrown into "Arrow" season 5 or lets say the MCU in Phase 3 or even 4. Like im suppose to know all these random C-list characters and they don't have much background, they just there... I know James Gunn like these types of characters, thats why he did both Guardians and Suicide Squad 2.0 but for a movie that is supose to (more or less) restart the DCU its a bid weird. Basically they "retcon" Peacemaker into this new DCU so i guess it mean S1 was canon and the SS 2.0 movie too, but outside of that its the "introduction" to this Superman, no Batman we seen yet, no Wonder Woman etc. Instead we get thrown into an universe with a bunch of wacky stuff and weird characters like a B-list Green Lantern lots of people don't know, Hawkeye that is just there without her background (or Hawkman) and then all these bad guys like the Engineer ... a line or 2 to introduce them and thats it. I dunno...
On its own i give the movie a 7 out of 10. Its fun and decent and all. I just wish it was an "elseworld story" and not the DCU for 10 years to come... because its kinda too goofy for me.
No its not needed for Superman or Batman, but if you gonna put some C-list characters in there like Mr Terrific, give them some original story... If it wasn't for watching Arrow, i would had no idea who was this guy and why he look so goofy
I seen this comparison done a few times and i so disagree. You could say this was done in Black Adam as well where a nation needed a hero because they had no mean to defense. Its just an old cliché. You could say its Russia and Ukraine too or whatever. Barovia or whatever its call is clearly not Israel, even if you want it to be. The only small portion it may share is that its "aligned" with the USA. But the rest... it has all the look of a country like Syria, Bellarus or North Korea.

It actually ignore the third movie or at the very least do not aknowledge its existance, thanksfully. It was a cheap DTV terrible movie with a bunch of unknowns. Personally i enjoyed this 2025 sequel but it has its issues. Overall its a fun decent slasher but the kills could had been gorier/bloodier, the chase sequences more nerve racking etc. Its best asset imo was the guessing game on who was the killer, but at the same time its not gonna please everyone... Overall a sequel that didn't really needed to exist but is fine... I mentioned in my review if they make another ill watch, but if they don't ...oh well.
The movie was "fine" but it had terrible pacing in my opinion. Its like it was a 3h script they shortened up. At first it moves rather slowly but then it jump from scenes to scenes and i was like "wait what he already found this guy?". I also wish there was more creative ways to take out the bad guy and so on. Basically its a movie that the trailer made look like a lot better than it was. Still not a bad movie tough. Entertaining enough but could had been so much more. That said i liked Malek as the main character.
Unpopular opinion but its my favorite one. Yes 2 is a better movie and probably the best Hellraiser overall, objectively (some would say 1 tough) but personally i love Pinhead unleashed creating a carnage in LA. And its not like there is no story element to justify it (as he basically break all his rule from #2, but its explained why).
