Exactly. Many SPs act like there’s only one way to do things. Sorry toots - I run my own business, and no one tells me how things should be done. I’m an Indy for a reason. What works for you doesn’t work for me, and vice versa. Some women in the industry gaslight the whole community into thinking there’s a single “right” way to book. The girls don’t pay my bills - I couldn’t give a rat’s ass if they dislike me. I’m not here to make friends. Especially fake ones. The problem is that what's best for SPs isn't always what's best for clients, and clients aren't here to generate business.
It’s the desperate rebranding, sales or constant churn of new slogans that cracks me up. Think about it - a big franchise or company doesn’t need to shove self-promotion down everyone’s throat. Their brand is strong, credible, and speaks for itself. They don’t need to be in everyone’s newsfeeds constantlyFor many clients the SP's relentless self-promotion is off-putting, but for inexperienced clients they are presented with what to them is the "normal" way to do things by the SPs here on the board, who of course want to "train" their clients well.
I read this as simp-hoRnyNaturally for the MERB simp-hony orchestra anything said by the SPs is gold and they'll turn on their fellow clients in the hope that they'll get an approving smile and a little rub on the tummy from the girls.![]()
And spot on! So many members treat what SPs say like gospel truth - when it’s all completely subjective, and plenty of other women wouldn’t run their business that way… which is fine. To each their own.
Lmao yes! It can get nasty very quickly. I guess everyone has been making efforts here lately. Who knowsHonestly given all the opposing groups and the push-pull-bury-exalt culture here it's a wonder that the board is as relatively civilized as it is.
