Have you tried it ? only reason I ask is its really rare.
I've only ever had it in 2 places : Japan and Hawaii and have failed to find any especially here in Montreal. I've been to countless other places boasting their shaved ice... but 99% its too granulated. I've bought multiple devices that made the claim to create the same shaved ice... but it always falls short. I know it sounds crazy, people usually say its crushed ice and its gonna be granulated at some point. But if you've ever had real shaved ice, then you know, the stuff is lighter than snow and instantly melts... hard to explain.

It will not be as fluffy as the Japanese kakigori unfortunately.
