In Cantonese cuisine they have duck eggs marinated in salty water. You poached them and they are yummy!

Yes eating it like regular chicken eggs. They have a bit more bite to them and are bigger. The yolk is typically darker, bigger and creamier/thicker too (if you like a runny yolk but they're also good when fully cooked)
