Well, maybe. If AI has gone from just taking our jobs to now taking over our mongering too then there might need to be some blue face painting and some screaming and charging needed. If, on the other hand, there's just some lonely AIs on the sidelines who can't get reviews in past Grok and ChatGPT then probably not, since they won't be offended anyway. If there's a scenario by which an AI reviewer make rates go down then I think we should vote for that one.

I think we will all live another day even if the most valued reviewer doesn’t get his much deserved recognition and award ceremony.

Really interesting how the conversation turns out...
For me, the reviewer award is/was really about giving a hi-five to fellow hobbyists who make it enjoyable to come here and participate.

Nothing related to fakes or advertisement, just good ol recognition. But I think it's going to generate more down spiral debates, and since votes are pretty much half-half, might as well only have a basic "appreciation" thread and that's it.
