The funny thing is clothes keep on getting longer and thinner for both men and women. Clothes seem to be made for tall thin people.

That’s probably because they are in the majority especially in the US.
I remember sitting in a restaurant in Worcester Mass. and this lady ordered three huge burgers a plate full of French fries and a Diet Coke.
Called the waitress back and started screaming at her because apparently she brought her a regular coke. This lady was seriously obese.
