Trudeau airport traffic and parking is bad... really fucking bad. If you have to pickup family at the airport, good luck!
I used to go to the Marriott lobby (at the end of the US terminal), I would give the attendant 10$-20$ and he would keep the car nearby. Now you strickly have to be staying at the hotel - guess too many people were doing this.
I've gone 4 times in the past 2 weeks. I expected closer to Christmas was going to be worst, but its just as bad as two weeks ago... meaning its always bad.
Cellpark are in the same area as P4. There is no time saving as going from the Cellpark to the terminal just injects you into the already apocalyptic traffic with absolute parking chaos around quick drop off / pickup areas.
Departing... if you're planning on following the 3h suggested time, understand that others on those flights are also going to follow that, so just as much traffic (if not worst).
This morning, I was supposed to pick up family members. They read about the traffic situation and suggested to take a cab to a restaurant half way where I could meet them. We had a quick bite, they freshened up and we headed up north. Way better than the 4 hours I wasted Yesterday.
*btw this is not a political complaint. We're stuck with this until the REM is completed regardless. Its just meant as a heads up.
