Travel Thread Request

I've asked about this in another thread and I'm not sure if this is the right place for it, but here goes:

Can we get a travel/visiting thread for providers in MTL, wherein it shows the local sps and where they are travelling (abroad, in Canada, etc) and one that shows outside sps that are visiting MTL, with dates/links/etc. Seems like a no-brainer way to sync up some schedules and get more eyes on providers when they're touring without having to be constantly following their socials/websites.

I just caught 2 MTL ladies that are on my TDL touring in the GTA on that terb page I wouldn't have known about and just booked both. Seems like a no-brainer. I realize they were made by a user, not mods, and I would recreate it if I had any understanding of how this system works, but can someone do the same here?

I don't have an account on TERB so can't see the content. So the traveling SPs make a post in this (sticky?) thread?

Here's how one of them looks. A user maintains it and I think he did the digging initially but now providers go directly to him to tell him the dates and he updates and posts them every few days.

The local one looks like this table format:

Each one on both threads links to their socials or websites or both. It's so ridiculously amazing and helpful I'm not sure why the board itself doesn't run it (or maybe they help, I'm not sure).

Formatting looks more advanced than what we usually post but I guess it's doable as it's the same forum engine behind.

Yeah, that's why I brought it up. I literally booked 3 women I would never have thought were nearby off the terb lists. We need an intrepid soul who knows how this site works to spearhead.

The guy probably looks at dates on Tryst, it's easy to follow.

They are very tolerant on TERB because many of those providers are not paid advertisers and still, their name, link and dates of travel were up and left there. Free promotion. I wasn't mad that my name was listed, but here they are usually a bit more strict about that?

I didn't think of that but hopefully they would allow it. While I didn't get to see you when you were in Toronto, it's only because of that page that I knew you'd be there. It seems like a no-brainer but who knows.

Ok got my account created and quick observation and comments on that:
- For both threads it's fairly easy to replicate.
- I think in terms of maintenance it's better to update it from a computer and not mobile phone. I think he got a file where he does the update and just update the OP with that. Which is easier.
- For the local thread it seems that TERB doesn't have the technical limitations to upload more than 10 pictures in a post. MERB limits that.
- To maintain the list you need to either to be free and spend lot time seeing who has created/updated their out of town schedule or there is already a dynamic where the SP will reach out to the member who is maintaining that to update his list.

That being said, creating and maintaining a out of town schedule in MERB should be fairly easy. I might be wrong but the out of town activity is not that high volume compared to the one in TERB (maybe they have way more SPs and naturally more out of town activity?).

Can try this WE to do a first draft with the current SP out of town or soon to be.

Simple answer: it takes time to maintain it.

The way it works currently is SP paying a fee to post and that's it. They manage themselves the posting, formatting, updates, etc.

By having the board do it it's shifting most of the work to the board. I'm not sure it's a service worth to monetize though.

Technical comment about how the websites are built: You can also see which websites have a thumbnail and short description or not. i.e. the ones that "displays" a framed picture and description got a good visibility for their website.
