It's a little off topic, but more public version of warning long gone now.
This app, and discussions here, reminded me of the website thedirty from a forgotten time now, where these same types of information were shared for anyone, not just women to see. And the owner of the site would only remove entries that were proven false. If there was no way to prove innocence, the post stayed up.
And I kept looking... ok the fact that there is no verifying of proof I'm not ok with. I would hope defamation of character was higher on their priority list.
The idea of the app is not a bad one. Their execution was awful. The goal of the app is wholesome though.
I did come across the gossip doxing that happened on the app, and it is kind of ironic that those doing doxing gossip were doxed themselves, and found how creepy it was that these people were able to have others follow their own relationships, stalking their bf's by other women reporting if they've seen them anywhere. And I hate to call it gossip, but if they don't require proof it is just hearsay.
I support the idea, and someone doing this in a moral less creepy way. But see just how ick this app really was on the underside. Not for misandry, but just in being an unverified doxing gossip chain.
