It's looking good indeed! Oilers in the playoff after 10 years! 10 years! My oldest son is 10 years :) Seems like a decade ago... hum well it is a decade ago haha

Looking good to for Toronto, Ottawa and the Habs. And Calgary that might cause the greatest surprise. Finally a good Spring season is awaiting us.

Cheers,

What would be a classic playoff ( for Canada ) is the winners of Olier / Flames and Habs / Leafs play for the cup, no American teams last two rounds. Bettman would freak and change some rules so it never happens again. Just a thought.

Looks like EB was right at the beginning of the season, McDavid won the scoring title, ended up with 100 points.

Playoffs are starting tonight and i'll be watching the habs/Rangers game. Leafs start tomorrow in Washington. I consider the Capitals to be one of the top 3 teams in hockey and if the Leafs manage to pull off an upset it'll be a shocker. I'm picking the habs to beat the Rangers. The Ottawa/Bruins series is a toss-up for me.

It'll also be strange not to see the Detroit Red Wings in the playoffs this season after an absolutely miserable year, which included the death of its long-time owner. They'll be playing in their new arena come next season and i predict a decade of losing in the Motor City. Remember how awful they were in the 70's?? It'll be deja vu, folks!

It's a new season!

The Leafs will pull the biggest upset by beating the Caps.

But then the Habs will make it to the final against the Hawks and win their 25th cup in history.

Here we go listen to Daft Punk "I feel it coming..."

Cheers,

Did you not predict a Clinton win and the Habs and NYR to tank a few months ago? Sorry, had to throw the jab in.
Personally I would love to see all the Canadian teams advance first round.
Enjoy the playoff, the Leafs did far better than anyone ever expected.

Clinton DID win. By more than 3 million votes. It would have been much more had the Russians not influenced the election with their 1000 internet trolls spreading fake news stories all over the web to influence swing-states voters. But that's another story. ;)

I'll enjoy the playoffs as usual for the first two rounds, and then i'll stop to watch the NBA playoffs and concentrate on baseball.

I find the NHL season way too long and find the first round series are the most entertaining. But i have trouble watching hockey in May and June, especially after watching every single game my favorite team (plus some habs games) has played during the regular season. Believe it or not, if my team magically makes it to the second round and then winds up losing, it'll feel like a blessing since i'd rather be outside in warmer weather than glued in front of a tv set.

My favorite teams to watch during the playoffs will be: Toronto, Ottawa, Edmonton, Calgary.

I'll follow the habs as much as i'll follow the Leafs, but for different reasons.

Pwahahaha yeah sure The simple fact Clinton lost to a person many americans considered a joke proved how she was totally unfit for that position. Trump is not perfect but he is probably the most honest presidential candidate in modern history. He may make mistakes, but he is not bullshiting peoples.

In any case this has nothing to do with Hockey but im sick of the Trump bashing and hope this was behind us.

That being said.....

HOW YOU BOYZ READY ?!!!! It start tonight !!!

Im only scared that Kryder could again injure Price and cost us everything, that damn cheating bastard... How it does not happen again. Obviously the Capitals, the Penguins will be huige obstacle and isee either one of them being in the conference finals, but who knows, its the playoff... everything can happen.

I do not believe either the maple leafs or the brownies will win there respective series...

I wouldn't be 'scared' if i were you. Al Montoya has been as good as Price this season.

It's just a little hiccup. The Habs will be back strong and win 4-1 next game.

Leafs turn tonight right, can't wait!

Possibly, but that 'hiccup' has been around for at least the past couple of seasons. It's no longer a hiccup, it turned into a flu.

p.s. I doubt it'll happen, but the Leafs may very well be the first Canadian team to win a game in these playoffs.
