Just saw this new thread under the independent section Arriving soon in OCT) New York mix blood Asian baby new arrived trip

Format is perfect, description as well. Only thing is the photos are stolen from a kpop idol ... Unfortunately for her (him) I could tell immediately.

I think because for some (or the majority?) the sticky section is collapsed so the 1st threads you see are the ones with recent comments.

NGL if I was not aware of who she is I would have bitten the bait lol

I know the section exists, just like I know the "hotels" sections exists... I just don't read it regularly. The "lounge" I do because there is every kind of topics and some are interesting, though some are not.

I think you should change the thread title , it makes MERB look bad and untrustworthy to visitors and new members. 'Scam' and 'MERB' shouldn’t never be in the same sentence; it sends the wrong message and could turn people away.

To be honest there been an influx of asian providers recently that do not inspire confidence. It looks like bookers handling things using fake pictures. I know some asian SPs are totally legit and it looks like it, im talking of the multiple "just arrived" and so on.

There is one i saw recently (think it was this morning) that seem to be gone now (probably moderation but can't know for sure) that basically said she wanted a specific type of men to "fuck her hard" (her words not mine) for her birthday and it was free but you had to pay for hotel room and had to be "handsome" like metrosexual between a certain age range etc. That was the weirdest ads i ever saw on merb.

I know shady ads are common on LL but its weird when they pop on Merb.

But as I mentioned the newest photos popped up on other platforms in other parts of Canada. So I am still doubtful of the veracity but this time I can't match to a name so people will have to move with cautions.

Yes the thread has been removed. She also has an ad in the Indies section. Funny part is that her birthday is in January. Looks like a blind copy/paste to bait.

That's the part that worries me
Usually listed ads in say the indies seem safe. But I guess that as long as the person pays for the ad it is posted. No idea of any screening upfront.

Well i do think the moderation will act quickly if the ad looks completely off (like the one we talked about) but otherwise if its just "it look kinda fake but there is no proof" i guess they would need to have multiple reports by trustful clients that it was a scam, a B&S or such. At the core they want to keep the board legit and clean, but its also a business and they can't ban/remove ads base on simple "feelings". I don't think merb will ever get "spammed" like LL at least.

Well some SPs reported that LL actually post fake ads themselves so the SPs pay more to be "featured" or to have their ads on page 1. Seem super shady...
