One thing I'm sure we all know is that LL has a lot of scammers. But has anybody ever wondered if some of those scams are actually sting operations? You know, like they ask for a deposit before meeting or ID, idk..

Read the Brother!
I think this was also started by you. Keep trolling?
I hope your other problem "making an SP pregnant with empty condom" is resolved now. LOL

It's because I tried to say I can use gift cards and told me, no only etransfer.. I didn't want
Deposits have sadly become a "thing" by most indies. So its not automatically a scam anymore. BUT you can do a minimum researches and see wich SP has a reputation (trough reviews, pro website, social medias, how long they been around). If its a random Leolist unknown just don't do a deposit, its that simple. Unless you ok to "gamble 50 to 100$"

Yes, she doesn't have a reputation, but I don't want e transfer, I like privacy. I just agree to maybe gift card because It shows I'm willing to confirm

No. Because a sting opperation wants to trap as many people as possible, so deposit wouldn't be likely.
Besides with deposit, your worry is being ghosted after by a scammer, not arrested for actually showing up.

Honestly I just stick to the old rules, where you call it time paid for, not services paid for. And just say services are one of my favorite ways to pass that time.

Ok but let's say I did deposit with E transfer, now all my information is revealed. Now she tells me to go to a specific location, the police can catch me regardless of paying the full amount or not due to already paying.. no?

No? Not at all. It is not illegal to send money to someone. If anything a deposit is less incriminating than paying in person and having sex right after.

Unless you specifically write down in the message/reason section of the transfer "this is for x services or meeting" (which no provider will ask you to and probably tell you to leave it blank) then there's no way that anyone can link/prove this said transaction is for something incriminating.

Im not sure it would really help legally. Its mostly a psychological thing to help SW deal with the job.
