when nadya and lilly were advertizers here they both had accused me of being a pimp

and shilling i complained and they didn't even get a warning

but thats my perspective on the comments

To be specific, I am curious about the "vested interests" and "other reasons we're not allowed to talk about".

I would like to know how members are supposed to know what these reasons are because I for one have no idea what they might be. Or are you going to bring up the tired old nugget about the NRP again which has already been done to death?

How do you know if moderators sent anyone a warning by PM or not?

If you can send me a link by email to an active advertising thread for bellissima on another board, I will remove their NRP immediately.

EDIT: We do not have any control over another board's review policies and the existence of a review thread elsewhere is not relevant to us. If they are advertising, this is a different story.

Aro is a massage parlor and their NRP will not be removed unless they make the demand. It has nothing to do with reviews posted on other sites, it has to do with reviews that go beyond the limits of what a massage parlor is legally permitted to offer and when this happens and a NRP is requested, it is granted. This will not change.

The answer to your question is no, I can not ever recall requesting that a member delete a thread and I can answer with an emphatic NO that I have never intimidated any member into doing so.

Now, here's an interesting question: Mod 8, have you ever requested or intimated to a poster to delete a thread?

I fail to see the significance of the number 403. Could you elaborate please?

The reason I no longer wish to discuss the NRP is that that discussion has taken place many times on MERB and our position is quite clear.

No advertising SP or agency is permitted to have a NRP.
MPs and massage parlors are free to request a NRP when reviews go over the line of what their legally permitted business consists of.
We will not permit any SP to hide bad reviews by means of the NRP policy and any attempt by a MP or massage parlor to do so will be noted in their NRP posting so that members may understand the reasons behind their request.

I see no problem for members who are reviewing any escort as there is a very slim chance that she will have a NRP in effect and if she does, it will be for personal safety or privacy reasons and she will not be permitted to advertise anywhere, not on MERB, another board or personal or agency website.

If you or any other member can find me an instance of an advertising SP having a NRP on MERB, I will remove it.

As far as any agency or group of such having a large part of the market, that is of no concern of MERB or in any way under our control. I fail to see how this should effect the ability of members to post reviews.

First of all, you are assuming that because something can be done, it is being done. Fred Zed runs three boards, TERB, PERB and MERB, of which our board is the smallest. Considering the amount of PMs that must be sent each day on all three boards I can not imagine anyone having the time or the inclination to bother reading members' PMs. I also do not see what anyone would have to gain by doing so. It is not as if anyone is exchanging state secrets here, you know.

Second of all, MERB is controlled by it's moderators, no one else, and we are on no one's payroll. To insinuate that any agency controls MERB is a direct attack on the integrity of MERB moderators.

If you have any so called proof, you can provide it to me by email.

I am tired of people complaining and making insinuations of outside interests controlling MERB. If you are not happy and have such low confidence in the moderators here, you are free to leave.

I am tired of your games here. Either spit it out or give us all a break. If you think I have ever suggested to you that you remove a thread then go ahead and tell us all about it. I for one am very interested in hearing the story. Any member can delete a thread that they themselves have started and that is no surprise to anyone.

For whatever reason you have decided to become a shit disturber in a thread that had no reason for one. Either get everything out in the open, now, or walk away. I have no intention of spending my evening in a pointless discussion.

PMs may not be disclosed on the board. If you have a point to make about a past situation you can contact me by PM. I do not see where I would suggest the removal of a thread unless it was a situation where the removal of such thread would avoid further conflict on the board. In general, I would just remove the thread myself if there was any reason to do so. I would very much like to know what situation you are referencing and you are free to refresh my memory by PM.

As for the NRP policy, I believe it has been explained many times and I have made a number of changes to it in the past year to address members' concerns. The NRP is not going to be abolished no matter how many members complain about it. As I have stated many times before, if anyone has a complaint about any particular NRP, they are free to discuss it with a moderator by PM. No actively advertised SP has a NRP in effect and no advertising SP will have one in the future. What more can members ask for?

Also, while other boards may not inform their members that such a policy exists, please be aware that it exists everywhere. We here at MERB at least inform the members of who has such a policy instead of simply removing the posts with no notice just as we inform the members about any member who has been banned and the reason for such a ban.

We do as much as we can possibly do to make MERB an open and honest place to post reviews. If anyone does not feel that MERB is a place where they can post their reviews and opinions, perhaps they would be better off leaving instead of using the NRP as a reason to justify their lack of contribution.

I usually post reviews. I say usually because if a girl asks me about merb or reviewing, I automatically will not review her. I was razzed when I first started posting but I dealt with it, and I do hope that my reviews help people make their decisions.
