Everything is very under the radar and there are various sites that have replaced the ones taken off line. I can provide links to these sites but I think it's against MERB rules. On those sites, there aren't links to agency websites but in many cases pics and a phone number. That leads you to what is in essence an agency.

There are and always have been tons of Russian agencies in NYC. Running MPs and escorts. It's all very overpriced but around 10 years ago when I was still active I found some good ones in NYC, higher end escorts for $600/hour. Probably a lot more now.

There was always an agency scene in NYC and it was always very under the radar.
Ahh okay that is good to know.

Regarding the alleged presence of a 17-year old at the agency and to elaborate on @CLOUD 500 point. There is a recent precedent in the public record where a man was accused of buying sexual services from a minor who had convincingly lied to him about her age, claiming to be 18. The man was acquitted. While I know nothing about the specifics of age verification in escort agencies, I simply wanted to highlight that there is a precedent of a minor who lied about her age to offer her sexual services while claiming to be an adult.

Great find. See not all things are black and white the way the media like to protray it. This man clearly was not there seeking a minor but he was lied to. This is something to learn from whenever going on Seeking or any other site make sure to to ensure the girl is not a minor.

I'm sad that this happened, but glad that truth is coming forward.
I think the pendulum probably will swing to the other direction in a bad way.

That is not something I've said, at all. I also have an issue with female pimps and know that male victims also exist. Argument rejeté

One minor is already too much and this isn't the only thing that went wrong. But we're going in circles. You (not all men, let me be clear) are part of the 2nd group of people I mentioned earlier, clearly. There's no point continuing this conversation as you won't change my mind and I won't change yours :)
You totally missed my point.

You'd think someone operating a prostitution agency would ask for ID and take steps to ensure said ID is legit. This article talks about a sugar daddy believing words he was told, which isn't the same situation as a pimp being utterly careless. Both situations suck but they are not comparable

Reasons to worry go beyond criminal liability. People were arrested and there might be a trial. Who knows what the prosecutors will submit as evidence. We know they have all the numbers and if they are used in the trial they become part of the public record
who's phone is in the XO list?

I'm curious.....If Google translate is correct, it's saying the undercover escort quit on her first day after the 3rd "client" as those 3 clients were all undercover. How did they ensure a real john didn't book one for those early slots?
I second that, it bugs my mind
How were they able to have the 3 male undercovers aligned perfectly as to allow the female undercover to call it a day?
One thing is sure, it then would means 3-4 hours to document a lot, take pictures etc... and even having a ... 4some lol

I've been a customer with XO since they first started. How far they have fallen if they did commit these allegations. Is is unsuitable business model (expenses exceed revenue) or ultimately just plain greed?

Finally this should be a wakeup call agencies to consider not even going into the 18-20 market. It represents an elevated risk that can bring down the entire operation.
option 1: she somehow feels sick and cancel the regular John

option 2: Fuck the police, fuck the— fuck the—

Reread my OP. As in the case of O'Gascon, they checked IDs and they ask the girls to show two IDs which is the norm of for most stripclubs but the girl had a very well made fake IDs. You do know it is not hard to get a fake ID from the black market? So how is it the club's fault? They still got penalized. As for XO, the details on that is missing and I doubt it will be released.

Undercover escort knew her schedule in advance the the UC clients refreshed the schedule at 10 pm (like some of our esteemed colleagues do) to get the first three slots. If there was a regular client who managed to get a slot she could have refused him for X reason. Less likely but possible, they infiltrated the agency and there was an undercover booker.

Kinda of a rookie mistake, experienced agencies always test the new girl with trusted clients....for many reasons...I feel like the cops had other moves or tools that are keeping secret

I don't know how much this trusted client scenario can work

the policewoman just needs to record the client giving her the envelope with the money, then get in the washroom and call the cavalry,

the cops would get in in minutes and get the john; enough to prove there is prostitution happening there

It is not all paradise with Indys either. Many are being pimped and coerced. Best not to generalize and put all in the same boat. There are bad agencies and good ones. Agencies also provide protection for the girls.
They also make things convenient for clients and providers.

Some stars at agencies pop on a few hours a month, do no pr/marketing and collect a good pay for tough work but without the toil of renting a place, hosting, dealing with non-serious customers, etc.

Agencies at time do block problematic customers which benefits providers…

Except the normal process here is payment afterwards. There was only 1 XO girl in my encounters asking for money upfront and we did engage in expected services so she wasn't undercover. :)

Note to self, walk away if she demands payment upfront.

no charges filed relating to the underage victim from 2017? Insufficient evidence?

This entire industry is an underbelly if you go strictly by LE.
There are truly dangerous elements that involve coercion, narcotics, trafficking, etc which seem to be the target of efforts like this investigation.

Then there is everybody else. A zealous prosecutor could nail anyone to the wall or, even without a conviction, drag someone thru the mud and ruin them.

On the John's side, the culpability seems clear. However, I don't see the impetus to pursue any of us unless you are world famous or are engaged in something truly nefarious.

not anyone on the supply side (indy or agency) is probably paying taxes. There are years of financial crimes, tax evasion, money laundering that could catch up. Ever facilitated a duo? That seems like it could be construed as procurement. But it's allot of work to pursue things like that for very little gain.

Great article, but it seems incomplete. To me, it seems like the other shoe is yet to drop.

I'm sure a lot has been left out in the article. But only thing that illustrates is XO booked three guys to go to a room and give a woman cash. Short of LE recording the john discussing a quid-pro-quo and then handling the cash, this is not slam dunk.

My own communications with XO has always been is <her name> available at 6PM? That's it. Nothing else discussed; no services, no price mentioned.

Trafficking a minor is completely separate from my point. If they did allegedly do that, they should be prosecuted for it.
