Missed Opportunities

I know there's a thread of SPs people have missed out on before they retired but I'm asking specifically wondering about in-date missed opportunities that you wish you could take back.

I'll start:
One time I started a session with a back/leg rub bc they had said they were sore from bike riding which they really seemed to enjoy and then eventually we pivoted to sex (obv). After times up and we're all done I come out of the shower and we're just shooting the shit and getting dressed I ask what she's up to for the rest of the night and she says something like, "Not much, I'll probably just sit around wishing you were still here rubbing my legs" and I was like, "haha yeah, yeah you really enjoyed that" and she doubles down and says, "I wouldn't even charge you" with a leg flutter and wink and I'm like, "haha, nice, well, see ya later" or something stupid in post-nut blindness, said goodbye and left.

About 15-20 min later I'm driving and it hits me like a train. What did you do, you complete moron?!

I text her about it and she's like "Yeah, I don't think I've ever been turned down like that. I really did want you to stay and we probably would've ended up fooling around again, but your loss, now I'm going out with friends."
Just a stupid small missed opportunity but I still think about it today with regret (and we joke about it now when I see her)

Not in-session but personally I've got to go back to high school. Saw a hot chick on the bus I could have sworn we were checking each other out but I let her slip. Then a few days later at an underage bar I ran into her and we exchanged numbers asap. Few days later was on the phone with her she says my grandmother isn't home right now wanna come over and I fucking didn't. Never spoke to her again

Ugh.. Yeah I have one like that in university that I think about often because she pretty much told me explicitly that if I go in the house with her we're fucking and I was like, "cool, well see ya tomorrow." Then we never spoke about it again.

I guess I learned my lesson in high school in Australia.
There was this girl who was hands down the most attractive girl ( Felicia Willow, I still remember her name) in the school and every guy had the hots for her including me.

I always thought I never had a chance with her even though I pretty much had the pick of girls as I was a total jock and on many school teams.
Anyway we ran into each other at the year end dance ( they didn’t call it a prom there) both with different dates and we were both a little drunk her more than me.yeah it was a tradition to get drunk even though we were way under the drinking age.
She flat out asked me why I didn’t like her and never asked her out and said she always wanted to know what it would be like to be with me.

I learned then to go after what I want and to put any shyness behind me, it was a good lesson to learn and I am glad I learned it so early in my life.
Basically nothing comes to those who sit back and wait for things to happen and are not willing to take a chance, hence why I always say you make your own luck in life.
