I avoid indies completely. They tend to be older, can cancel at last minute, just not worth the time and extra $$$. There is no point when you get younger girls through reliable Montreal agencies. Let your money talk, we have the money and the power.

I'm not saying that at all. Charge whatever you like, if it becomes too risky get out of the business if that's what you want to do.

Increasing prices doesn't mean a safer experience, it just means your taking a higher risk and feel you should be compensated for it (coronavirtus tax). And that's fine as well, but let's call it what it is instead of defending what it's not.

I believe that is exactly what I explained in both my posts. I never said it would be safer, I simply said that we should be compensated appropriately for the added risk. Rightfully so I might add.

Rose you are a very intelligent woman and you express yourself very well. That said, yes many will put a "coronavirus tax", but since their salaries are already low, then that's okay.

Requested $ 350 / hr with a minimum of 1.5 hours, therefore $ 525.
For me it's too much paid, but if you have customers who are ready to pay that, so much the better.

Yes what do you say about agency girls, I agree with you, and also at the risks you take.

You think COVID will be a thing of the past in a few weeks/months? I think we all know that won't happen so soon. Instead of holding your breath on us decreasing our rates (which probably won't happen), maybe you should focus on booking someone who charges a rate you are willing to pay?

To my knowledge, prices have not increased over the last while before COVID. I saw that XO raised it by $10 last year but that was it. A small increase is not a problem.
I do not know how much independent ladies increased their price, but it does not matter whether we think it is too much or not. If that is what the lady wants, that is what the lady gets. If they do not get any customers, that is their problem. If you cannot pay the slight increase, then you should not be booking anyways. If you are on a reduced salary because of the pandemic and cannot afford the increase, then you should not be booking. Just drive up to Hochelaga-Maisonneuve and you can get FS for like $50 which is going to be way more in your price range. The look and service will be proportional.
Rose: I saw that you charger $350 an hour now. If you do not mind, how much were you charging pre COVID. I would just like to have an idea. You can PM or ignore my question if you feel it is out of place.

Agencies are not always honest with the age of the ladies. You might be thinking the agency lady is younger, but she might be the same age or older than the independent you skipped because she is “too old”. They are in the same ball park anyways. It is not like one is in her twenties and the other one is in her fifties.

My intent was not to burn, but rather to question why one who joined the forum on June 1st 2020, can only seem to complain about Indies price increases. I mean, agencies are priced much lower so why not just book these ladies? I simply don't get it.

As for my prices pre-COVID, I was 300$/h. To be fair, I started in the business 5 years ago at 200$ and have been slowly increasing my rates to adjust with the volume of inquiries I get.

Enough with this discussion on rates. A lady has the right to charge whatever she wants. You have the right to book someone within your budget. If you refuse to pay her rate or cant afford it, move on and find someone within your budget. These rate discussions are not only repetitive, they are getting old and boring. Like a dog chasing its tail boring. Enough. Any more posts or discussions on rates will not only get removed, they will get you banned.

i'm not sure some indepedants also especially indy girls never really stopped.They choose business over health and risk of giving covid to any body outside of the sex industry not very responsible on there part.
