-you could call Les Filles de Monsieur Jacques & book a hottie for the first hour at $130 & the extra hours for $100 more.
-when an agency like LFMJ had like 30 girls working at the same time & he even had girls working under the same name. You had to specify which one you wanted to see: Josee from Beloeil or Josee from Longueuil?
-when you had an agency like Douces Folies at $100.
-when you had low end agencies like LFMJ & DF that were hit & miss. You either would have a plain looking girl show up or a total bombshell! Sometimes girls showing up also worked for high-end agencies but also worked for the low-end ones since they had more calls/better cut=more money.
-when there was no extra fee for greek & cim.
-when there was no photoshopping of the pictures on the websites (eg-Eleganza, Asservissante).
-when agencies offered great deals for booking multiple hours.
-when independents were bombshells, reasonably priced & worth every single dollar.
-when you’d book one girl & then two girls would show up at your door.
-when another girl would show up instead (bait n switch) and she was a total bombshell!
-when some of the popular agencies would hold monthly raffles for a free hour with a girl or a threesome,
-when you could just wait in your room at any hotel instead of having to go to the lobby to meet your guest.
-when all the agencies offered outcall & incall was rare.

I miss those times were it was still possible to have some decent bangs for 60-80$/30 min
I don’t get to Montreal as much as I used to, but this is a sea change. The charm of Montreal has always been outcall service, the convenience and comfort of it all.
I can very efficiently and successfully do quality incall in NYC and North Jersey (at higher price point, but you can do real 1/2 hours). Outcall requires a second mortgage.
I understand the reasons that agencies now prefer incall (more appointments, less traffic tie ups, safety, etc). But from a customer point of view, it all feels more transactional and rushed. I can get that anywhere, and it begs the question, why am I paying for a hotel in Montreal?

Well, reading how some memories go way back to the 20th century...

Most of us wax nostalgic for the Good Girls and Asservissante era of hobbying. And I miss JuilesNYC and Aphrodite Companions locally. Nothing today compares. It is what it is. And it’s true of the MLB, NFL, ESPN, Sunday Night Football (with Joe Theisman in booth), 80s music, movies, Comedy etc. But we’re all still fortunate to have the health, finances and freedom to visit Montreal and meet up with a 20 or 30 year old.
I don’t know if anyone is complaining about rates in the context of the girls don’t deserve. My plumber who put in a hot water heater deserves what he got, but I still miss when I paid 30% less. Both things can be true simultaneously.
Asservissante was a great agency and bailed me out a number of times after another agency canceled. Was Martin the owner?
The market up there is screaming for a return of Asservissante or Mike (GG and was it Elite?). But then again, recruiting is much more challenging today. Lightning in a bottle happens just once.
Also... old farts are two fold... yes they're old, sometimes very old... but I'm hoping they're the most respectful, most generous and less demanding clients... knowing they're so lucky to be in the company of such young and beautiful women.
I'm thinking the young ones, raised with internet porn and social media, are the most demanding ones...

I used Asservissante no more than 3x but every girl was just fun and amazing. I remember literally - and I mean literally - running back from Bier Markt (where I was watching a band on 1st floor) to the Marriott after I got an urgent text that the girl was arriving like 20-30 min early.
The girl that evening was great and we had a debate - I *think* about Olympic Stadium, and she said “No, I don’t think that’s right. Martin would know.” She called him and he proved my point right. So much fun that evening chatting with both of them. He was a master recruiter. I really miss Montreal nights like that one: An evening out watching a band, some beers, a 90 minute session including a drink at the hotel bar with the girl, the session, and then a solo walk for bite to eat at W&G bar or some other restaurant.

I don't negotiate. Never have, never will. The price is the price. To me, that shows a lack of respect for the provider, so I stick to the price range I set for myself.

Anyway, it's possible that you and I seek different things from providers (I don't go for BJs or penetration of any sort) , but I don't necessarily see negotiation as disrespectful. Everyone's time is negotiable.
Do you not negotiate a pay rate or pay increase at a job for the work you do? Or negotiate a sale that you are making? It really has very little to do with whether or not you see the person as a human being worthy of respect or not, it's more about value that you feel you are getting. This is the same logic an SP has to apply when deciding what rate works for them. Nobody is owed cash for s3x, and nobody is owed s3x is the bottom line.
Sometimes an SP will prefer to give a reduced rate handj0b and make some money rather than make no money because the guy doesn't want to actually have s3x and pay those prices. Price discovery is a natural, dynamic thing, and even a grocery store will accept a negotiation if the deal makes sense.
Please note that I'm not condoning harassment or begging for lowered prices, I don't think it's a little misguided to flat-out consider negotiation as disrespectful.
Obviously i could go with prices, but thats just how it goes with EVERYTHING as time goes on, so my only legitimate gripe/miss it is euphoria and xo outcalls(for all girls)
