Hi. I found this site while searching for "Strip Club" songs, but that thread was several years old. So since there's lots of great new tunes (and still lots of great old ones too) I thought I'd give it a shot at re-starting the idea from that original thread. I just finished making a compilation CD, and this is what I've come up with (at least for volume one) ;)

In order:

1. DHT - Listen To Your Heart
2. Colin James - That's What You Do To Me (Thanks to Rezdog)
3. Barbara Carr - A Woman Always Gets Her Way
4. B.B. King - Did You Ever Love A Woman?
5. Axel Zwingenberger - Two O'Clock Mood
6. Billy Preston - Will It Go Round In Circles
7. Alannah Myles - Black Velvet (This was on before I checked the site)
8. Peggy Lee - Fever
9. Nina Simone - I Put A Spell On You
10. Denis La Salle - I Just Wanna Make Love To You
11. Holly Cole - Heat Wave (Thanks to JacknJill/orallover/Firewire for Holly Cole suggestion; never heard of her before; she rocks!)
12. Tom Jones - You Can Leave Your Hat On (Also done by Joe Cocker and Etta James. I like all 3 versions.)
13. Holly Valance - Kiss, Kiss
14. Bryan Adams - I Wanna Be Your Underwear
15. Lords of Acid - Undress & Possess
16. Cyndi Lauper - I Drove All Night (Thanks to Raquelle)
17. ZZ Top - Low Rider
18. Aerosmith - Walk This Way
19. Hank Williams, Jr. - Naked Women & Beer
20. Joan Jett - Wild Thing
21. John Lee Hooker w/Van Morrison - G-L-O-R-I-A

Even though the songs cover lots of genres, believe it or not, they really work together as a comp CD. (At least IMHO). Lemme know what ya think. As much as I like this one, I wouldn't mind making another. :D

Wow. The list doesn't include THEE all-time classic song for strip joints, a song that ALWAYS seem to be played (or so I've noticed):

Hella Good by No Doubt (w/ Gwen Stefani)

A heavy dance beat with Gwen Stefani's heavy breathing and giggling. Perfect for the strip joint, and they always play it.

Thanks for the responses!!

(...keep 'em comin) :D

Note: I just heard a cut that I think is so good I might make it the first song on the CD:

the remix of the Eurythmics "Sweet Dreams".

Fantastic beat; and the lyrics fit very well also.

I'm gonna d/l and listen to the tunes you've suggested! Thanks again.

I start to like songs I did not like before after I see a girl dance naked to them. :) It becomes conditioned and takes me back to happy times when I hear the song later on.

I saw Jenna Jameson stip to American Bad Ass... forver changing the way I listen to that song.

One of the sexiest strip songs is Godsmack's Voodoo. Would be perfect with Cleo's low lighting...

I'm not into much looking for stripper ...:D
But I do admit once I saw a girl who dance on that song and I was really impressed ... Not by the beauty of the girl ;) but about her performance.

Thank's Techman, I was wondering for a long time now who was singing the original version!

jost, I think you mean Darling Nikki by Prince. The guy has written some of the most sexual, and some outright dirty, songs of any artist. Just have a listen to Sister from the Dirty Mind album or DMSR from 1999. Unfortunately he's changed his style since becoming a Jehovah's Witness but remains the performer I most want to see in concert.

I do not think that anybody has mentioned the all time number 1 stripper song, "dream on" by Aerosmith or "cry little sister" which is from the lost boys movie soundtrack and is sung by someone by the name of Gerrard something(dont know the last name).

"Cry Little Sister" also made the Witchblade: The Music album - credited to Gerard McMann (AKA G Tom Mac).

I personally also like some of the other stuff on that album, but I can only think of Essence's "Dark Angel" right now.

Couldn't agree with you more Techman, he either recently released a new album or is about too. I just saw his "new" single "Black Sweat" last week, not bad at all.

Some other Prince tunes to get freaky by:

Head

Jack U Off

Cream

Get Off

And I can't believe we all spaced "Little Red Corvette"!

oh man, you're right about that "cry little sister" song. when I first started SCing about 15 years ago, they would always play that one as a slow song. I almost forgot about it, haven't heard it in a long time. that song really sets a weird creepy mood in the SC

what about these SC "slow song" staples:
Secret Garden - Barry White
Practice what you Preach - Barry White?
Winds of Change - Scorpions
Suite Madame Blue - Styx
Angie - Stones

btw, years ago the girls always used to take a little rug up on stage for the slow song. wonder why they stopped doing that
