Patrick Laine is back to being the Patrick Laine of old: a lazy, out of shape player who’s only effective on the powerplay but a totally useless player 5 on 5. And when there are barely any powerplays in a particular game what is he useful for? He also seems weird as hell if you ask me. Looks like a real loner type & he recently said so himself tnat he spends quite a bit of time playing video games by himself & that it’s a habit that hasn’t gone away. Maybe he should spend more time in a gym working on his cardio then spending his days playing Mortal Combat!

Habs 4 Sharks 3
Two fairly even teams but somehow the Habs managed to sneak in & prevail over SJ with a go-ahead goal in the final minutes. Of note Joel Armia & Alex Newhook played strong games. Monty got the start & the win. Next up LA.

Now i realize why teams quickly fall out of love with Patrick Laine! Is he a bad hockey or simply just extremely lazy? I don’t recall ever seeing a one-dimensional player! Ever since he badmouthed his former team it seems like he totally disappeared! He looks like a hockey player who hates playing hockey!

Anyways once again it shows that this team has a serious lack of depth. And last night other than a great lack of scoring punch the goaltending (Dobes) wasn’t at its best. What a terrible effort by the habs!

Lol

Hopefully, Hughes will take care in the next months. We’ll see.
My guess is that he’ll get rid of most of the veteran players he can get something of value from. Especially the ones on expiring contracts like Savard, Evans & Dvorak. It wouldn’t surprise me if he also trades one of Gallagher or Josh Anderson. They ised to be next to impossible to trade however they’ve both played well & more importantly have been healthy all season.
