Not a good opening week for the Las Vegas GP. First the venue is trashed by Max Verstappen, who accuses the event organizers of making him feel like a "show Clown", now the fans have slapped race organizers with a class action lawsuit due to a much anticipated practice session which was quickly cancelled after a car was damaged by loose drain covers:

The troubled Las Vegas Formula One Grand Prix has been hit with a class-action lawsuit on behalf of the 35,000 people who bought tickets for Thursday's practice session, which was cancelled when Carlos Sainz's Ferrari was damaged by a loose drain cover.

FANTASTIC RACE! The excitememt did match the pre-race hype! Stroll finished 5th! Max singing VIVA LAS VEGAS after crossing the finish line! Great race by Leclerc who passed Perez just prior to the finish line! Loved the race! Maybe my favorite race this season!

The difference between the last races and the ones earlier in the season is, now we see battles at the front, not the middle of the pack where, the closest car is 20-25 seconds behind the first place.

Leclerc certainly deserve the « Driver of the day » public award but Checo also did great. We saw some inexperienced drivers ruining their tires in the first laps by pushing too much on the very cold track, resulting in graining them. Hat’s off to Stroll who managed to drive his way up from 19th to 5th.

Anyone believe the rumor that Lewis Hamilton has approached Red Bull about joining their team & taking over Cheko’s spot? Of course Hamilton has denied it but there’s probably some truth to the rumor unless Christian Horner leaked it just to get under Toto Wolfe’s skin! Lol

Very boring season so far & the most interesting part of the season is all the drama going on within the Red Bull team where team principal Christian Horner’s status with the championship racing team remains in limbo ever since accusations that he sexually harrassed a female employee was made public. After being supposedly exhonerated by internal investigators the hundreds of texts he exchanged with his accuser were leaked to all the other racing teams. Soon after we learned that Red Bull top gun Helmut Marko would be suspended for being suspected of being behind the leaks. Omce this happened Max Verstappen’s father Jos went public & stated that Christian Horner should be fired for the well-being of the racing team. Then Red Bull suspended the female accuser without further explanation giving the impression that they would rather side with the guilty culprit instead of the victim because of Horner’s great success as head of Red Bull racing.

Upon hearing that Helmut Marko would likely be suspended for a few races Max Verstappen then stated that if this were to happen he would leave Red Bull since he’s really close to Marko whom he considers a mentor & that the two go together. Although he’s signed for another few years there is a clause in his contract that he can opt out if Marko is no longer part of the team. Like Jos Verstappen, Helmut Marko is no big fan of Christian Horner. Today we have learned that Red Bull has now rescinded its threat to suspend Marko, no doubt for damage control reasons & feeling that Max Verstappen is serious about leaving the team if Marko is disciplined. After two races Red Bull leads the constructors & Max Verstappen has easily won both races. But the turmoil within the team remains & the other teams are loving it!

Yep. Bravo a Carlos qui meriterai ben plus que Leclerc de rester chez Ferrari, mais que c tu veux, il fait pas partie de la clic de Vasseur et ses ancients pilotes. Lol!
Bullshit pour le 20 sec de penaliter a Alonso, pas de sa faute si Russell sait pas chauffer en arriere et qu'il conduit une Mercedes instable. Pas la 1er fois que Russell se plante tout seul. La derniere fois c a Singapore l'ans passer quand Carlos a gagner aussi. Lol!

Je pense que tout le monde est content pour Lando. Tellement mérité. Bon de voir un autre écuries passer devant et même s'éloigner de Max. Espérons que ça sera pas juste pour une course.
